Jade Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Chapter 6

The next day while they were in Defense Against the Dark Arts Jade was sitting next to Pansy and watching a paper bird fly around.

When it was back at her it was stopped and back there.

"Good morning children." Umbridge said.

Then she had her wand carry a book to everyone.

While they looked at their book a Gryffindor raised her hand.

"Yes miss?"

"Bell ma'am. There's nothing written up there about using defensive spells."

"Using spells? Haha! You will be learning using a secure risk free."

"We're not gonna use magic?" Theo said.

"You will be learning in a secure, risk free way."

"And how's theory going to help when there's something out there?" Jade asked.

"There is nothing out there dear. Who would want to attack children?"

"Oh I don't know. Maybe, Lord Voldemort?"

Everyone sat there in silence.

"Now let me make this quite plain. You have heard that a certain dark wizard is append us. This is a lie."

"It's not a lie I saw him, I fought him!"

"Detention Ms. Potter!"

"Oh so according to you Cedric Diggory got killed?"

"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident."

"It was murder you should know that!"

"Enough! See you later Potter, my office."

A few hours later Jade was on her way to her detention. When she knocked on the door.

"Come in."

So she opened the door and then shut it.

"Good evening Ms. Potter. Sit." she said pointing to a desk.

So she sat down.

"You're going to be writing some lines for me."

Then she took out her quill but was interrupted.

"No not with your quill. You're going to use a special one of mine."

She handed her the quill and she picked it up.

"You haven't given me any ink." she said.

"Oh you don't need any ink. Now I want you write, 'I must not tell lies.'"

"How many times?"

"Oh, let's just say when the ink begins to sink in."

So she started to write it down and then started to feel pain on her hand. After the first line she looked at her hand. Then looked up.

"Yes?" she said.

"Nothing." Jade said.

"That's right. Because you know, deep down, you deserve to be punished."

Jade just looked at her for a few seconds then continued to write.
