These poems will be extremely deep and extremely personal. I want to tell my story and try to make people realize that just because you can't see mental illness, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If you know someone who is struggling with mental illness, please help them or try to get them the help they need. I hope that with each poem I write, I'm helping someone realize that they are not alone. I want everyone to feel validated, as a lesbian demigirl, validation means everything to me. As much as I want to help people though, these poems could be triggering to some readers. If you feel that a poem will trigger you, please skip to the next one. There will be trigger warnings before each of the poems.
