Sky's POV
I checked on Charlie just a bit about, Daryl was in there, of course, so I hopped down the stairs and grabbed my 9mm. from my cell. "Where you going?" Carol asked from the table. I looked to her. "Just trying to go find Rick. I'll be back soon." I replied. She didn't say anything, just went back to peeling potatoes. I shook my head and headed out of the cell block. I made my way down the tunnels. They were dark and the smell was horrible. I kept my gun up so I was alert all the time. When I came to the first turn that I didn't know where I was going, I looked for something to mark where I am at. I looked around and saw a walker a foot or so away. I reached down and dug into the belly of the walker and took out some blood. I crinkled my nose in disgust as the dark liquid oozed from my hand. I walked over to the wall and wrote an arrow in he opposite direction. I wipped my hand on my shirt, as it was already stained form blood, and continued my walk through the tunnels. Everytime I turned, I would find another resource to write with. I walked down a wide hall and soon heard the sound of a faint voice talking. I slowly came up to a door labled the 'The Boiler Room'. I pulled open the door and shut it tightly behind me. I walked down the metal stairs and made sure to keep my presence unknown. "I have a son." I heard Rick say. Who is he talking to? I walked a little further. I looked in the open area to see dried blood on the floor, with it leading out another door. "Lori." I thought to myself. Trust me, I hated the bitch, but nobody should have to die like that. "I-I have a newborn baby....and a couple of other...friends." Rick spoke again. I looked around the corner to see him by the wall with a phone held to his ear. "Was he talking to somebody?" I thought to myself. No, he couldn't be. It was impossible. "Would you be willing...could you take in others" He asked. Rick looked like he was listening in with his head tilted. "Then let me make a case!" He yelled. I stepped back in shock and wariness of his sudden outburst. "Please, please, don't..." He started and I could tell he was on the verge of tears. "...don't go." He stuttered. This was the time to help him. "Rick?" I questioned as I walked in. He quickly turned to me in shock, but soon covered it up and looked back the phone, then to me. "Rick? A-Are you alright?" I asked and stood in front of him. "Sky.." He breathed. "Rick, who are you talking to?" I asked, eyeing the phone. He looked back down at it and then back up to me. "Rick...Come on, lets go back, clean you up?" I suggested and grabbed his arm. "No!" He said and pushed me. I think he pushed me a little harder than he thought, because I fell back and onto the ground. I knew he didn't mean it, but it still hurt. I held my head in a little pain as Rick realized what he'd done. "Sky..I-I'm sorry." He said and came over to me. "Its...fine." I replied as I got up, rejecting his hand that was offered. "Rick, you need to come back...the group needs you....I need you." I confessed. His face softened as he came closer to me. "Rick, I know what you are going through is hard, but-" "How would you know? You are just a girl we picked up in a town." He hissed. I looked to him with confusion. This wasn't the Rick Grimes I knew. This wasn't the Rick I fell in lov- "And before we picked you up, you were just some whore to them." He spat. I was taken back in shock. How could he say that? I don't care what level of crazy he is at right now, he has no clue what I've been through! I held my hand up and slapped him in the face, hard. Then, I turned on my heal and walked quickly back to the cells.I quickly made my way back to the cell block and opened the door to the common area, where most of the group was eating...even Daryl. I walked to the table and grabbed a bowl of food. It was quiet in here, th only noise was the sound of spoons clanking against bowls. I nodded my head towards Maggie who handed me a spoon, then I walked over and sat next to Daryl on the stairs. "How is she?" I asked in a whisper. "Should be up and movin' by tonight." He replied. I nodded my head as took a bite of rabbit. I ate about half of my small portion of food and handed the rest to Carl. He denied it at first, but soon, he just gave in, seeing I wasn't going to give. I grabbed an extra bowl of food for Charlie. I tucked my gun in the waistband of my jeans and walked to the cells. I entered Charlie's cell on the top floor, because we could move her now and set the food next to the bunk. "Charlie?" I called softly. "Charlie, wake the fuck up." I said a litle louder, but others couldn't hear. She right away woke up and glared at me. "What the hell, Sky?" She groaned. I chuckled and handed her her food as she sat up. I noticed she winced a little, and she tried to hide it. "So..I've been wanting to ask you something. Are you..infected? I mean, are you actually going to go all 'walker Charlie' on me?" I asked a little scared of the answer. "Well, it's been a day and a half, almost two, I think something more would have happened by now." She replied as she checked her bandage on her arm. I smiled as I unlocked the handucffs from the bed. "I bet you and Daryl will need these." I said with a smirk. Se slapped my arm as she blushed. "I bet you and Rick will too. Use then 50 Shades of Grey style." She shot back with the same smirk. I slapped her arm this time and sat down next to her. "He just lost his wife..he has a new duaghter...the chance of us working out..isn't possible. Plus, he sees me as some little girl you saved from trafficing. He can't like me, I'm too different." I explained with a sad smile. Then Charlie did something I never thought she would do, she hugged me. Charlie wasn't at all good at comfort, but just having this moment with her, ment a lot. I needed this. "You can't think like that. Sky, you are amazing. You've been through so much shit you didn't deserve and I have never thought so much of a person." She said. "Now, I know I suck ass at comforting people, and I am not the best person in the world, but like me, you are a fighter, a survior. We have both been through horrible shit, but we made it out, and now, we need to live life to the fullest." Charlie added. I looked back up to her after she finished hugging me. She really got it. I was starting to regret not telling her the truth about my life before the world went to shit. I mean, I told most of the truth, but not the whole truth, so it's still the truth. "Charlie...I want to tell you something, something I wanted to tell you before, but I thought you would think of me different." I mumbled. "Sky? What the hell is it?" She asked. "I lied about my life before all this. I said everyhing was perfect, but it wasn't. I did live in Atlanta with my boyfriend and I wanted to be an actress, but Tate was not the..best." I confessed. She looked..hurt maybe? "Why didn't you tell me?" Charlie asked. "Because..I couldn't" I replied. "You couldn't? I told you a lot about me....I trusted you with my life." She said. "I know you haven't told me everything. I'm okay with that. That's your own story, but I wasn't ready to open up, I didn't know how to." I said. She slowly nodded her head, getting what I was telling her. "Please, go on." She urged. I let out a deep breath before telling her. "He was abusive. He would act all nice and loving in front of family and friends, but whe we were alone and in private, he would hurt me. Sometimes he would force me to do heroine....I always tried to refuse, but after a while, I got tired of fighting, so I gave in. I let him push me around and mess with me for three years..." I sniffled a cry that I tried not to show it, but I couldn't anymore. "Hey..Sky, look, I get it. I was abused for my whole life. I left home when I was 17 and joined the Marines....." She replied with saddness. I was shokced by her. It wasn't like her to open up that much, even just a little. Yeah, we talked before about our past lives but it was stupid stuff we did in high school and shit. "..Thank you, Charlie. I know we were not close in the begining, but you are family now." I stated. "I didn't do anything, Sky. You are strong." She replied. I gave her one last hug and walked out.
I ran into Glenn, litterally, as I came out of Charlie's cell. "Hey, there. Uhm...just was gonna tell you that Rick came back. Said he wanted to check on Carl, it looked like he was searching for somebody and the only people that weren't in there was you and Charlie....but beyond that, he was cleaned up and then 'poof' he headed back into the tombs." Glenn informed me. I mentally smiled when he said Rick was 'looking' for me. "Thanks Glenn, I'm gonna try and talk some sense into him." I replied with a slight smile of gratitude and walked out of the block.
Charlie's POV
"I didn't do anything Sky. You are strong." I told her. I was surprised what I admitted to her, but Sky was like the sister I never wanted but I always needed. She gave me a hug and walked out. I smiled to myself. Sky was good. She had innocence, but there was something dark there. I would not get on her bad side. I got up from my bed and put my hair up into a messy bun and slipped on my boots. I walked out of the cell and just saw the back of Sky as she left the block. I walked slowly into the common area and placed my bowl on the table of the other dirty ones. "Charlie!" Carl yelled. I smiled as the kid jogged over to me and hugged me. I saw everybody in the group look at me with happy eyes...everybody but Carol. She looked pissed I was up and moving. I looked over to Daryl as he smirked. I walked over to him and leaned against the railing he was sitting by. He sat up and leaned next to me. "Aint suppos' ta be movin' til later tonight." He whispered. It sent shivers down my spine as I looked up to him. "I tought we had unfinished business, though?" I asked with innocence. Daryl smirked and looked down to me. "Yer very much right, Char." He replied. I smirked as I grabbed my bow from the corner and started to walk about the door. "Charlie!" Herschel called. I turned back to him. "You can't be using that arm right now." He informed me. "I wont. It's just in case of emergency." I replied. He nodded his head as I walked out into the late afternoon day. The air was hot, but there was a nice breeze that made me feel better. I hated be stuck in the prison all day long. I walked in the grassy area and to the area Lori had a grave placed. I looked down at the hand-made cross and frowned. "I know you didn't deserve to go like that...." I trailed off. I tought it was stupid of me to be talking to a damn cross. I wanted to believe there was another life beyond this, but tragedy keeps happening...so it's hard to believe. "...but you could have done better, Lori. You treated Rick like he was garbage and you could just toss him away any time you like. He isn't. Rick is my brother and he deserves a lot more than you..he deserves Sky. Hell, you couldn't even keep your legs closed when you thought he was dead!" I said quickly. I don't know why I was saying these things, but I felt like they needed to be said. I kept all the harsh words towards her in all winter, and now, I could say them. "...And Carl, he's gonna go off the deep end because of this. Because of your death. You had to fuck Shane and get prego and then die. It's your fault." I whispered the last part. I don't know if I was angry or sad, but I said what needed to say. I dug through my pocket and held out a tiny ring. It was her wedding ring with Rick. She gave it to me after the farm and told me hang onto it. I don't know why, but I did. I walked around and tied the ring within the rope and walked back up the to the prison court. I smiled as Daryl came out and walked over to me. "Hey." I smiled again. "Hey." He grunted back. He then slowly back me up so my back hit the wall gently. I knew what he was doing. "Been impatient over the couple of days?" I questioned with a smirk. "Very." He growled and kissed my lips. It was full of passion and lust. He started to kiss down my neck and started to suck on my sweet spot. Damn, he really liked that. He knew what would get to me. I let out a soft and quiet moan as Daryl then smirked against my skin. All I wanted was to go and fuck him right now. I could feel he wanted that too. He released his lips from my neck and grabbed my hand. He brought me into the prison and into an area where I don't think anybody knew about. I knew it was safe though, he wouldn't have brought me in here if that wasn't the case. He set me down on the blankets that cover the floor and hovered above me. He kissed from my lips down my neck and loved it. I took off his angel vest. I then pulled at the end of his shirt as I kissed him back with force. Just as Daryl reached to pull my top off, there was footsteps. "Charlie?" It was Glenn. I huffed as Daryl glared at he voice in annoyance. He pulled his vest back on and helped me off the ground. "Damn, China man can't mind his own buisness." Daryl stated. I pulled him over to me and I kissed him tightly. "This...will be resumed. I whispered seductivly in his ear. Daryl was going to kiss my lips but I turned my head so he kissed my cheek. I smirked at his reaction and left him there. I walked out of the area and into the clearing where Glenn was. "What is it, Glenn?" I asked. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. "What were you-" He started but stopped when he saw Daryl soon follow out and glance back at me as he went outside. "Were you guys about to-" "What did you need, Glenn?" I asked again. "Well, I know you and I know you are not going to stay inside long...want to go on a run?"
