I just wanna apologize if the story seems confusing to you, it made more sense in my head XD

3rd person pov

Every month at the Kimetsu Academy, there is one particular week, considered a curricular week at the school. On this very week, all teachers are given a week long break. Though it is still mandatory for students to attend school. As replacement, the junior classes will be looked over by the seniors. This is to see the capability of students to manage themselves. Seniors act the lead to take care and, if capable, teach the juniors a little something within the week. Whichever senior class proves to be most beneficial to the juniors, gets extra points on curricular.  Senior classes 2a and 2b were like rivals, always competing to see who's best.  And so this curricular that they have every month has the most effective results in seeing who's better. Accordingly, class 2a will be paired [or most likely judged-] by class 1a. (Bias much?) And then class 2b with 1b.

Timeskip to the arrival of curricular week

Zenitsu's pov

I came to school to be greeted by Tanjiro awaiting at the entrance. Kaigaku waved at me as he went on inside as I waited by Tanjiro. "Good morning Zenitsu!" he chirped. "Morning, Tanjiro. What's up? And doesn't Kanae-sama usually wait here in the morning? Where is she?" I asked. "Oh, didn't you know? Today's curricular week!" Tanjiro said still smiling. "Curricular? What's that perhaps?" I asked once more, confused. "So basically for this whole week our seniors, class 2a will be looking after our class." Eh? Looking after? How come I didn't know of this? Is this an annual event for them? Either ways, I didn't realize it but Tanjiro was already dragging me to class. I didn't mind, but I was kinda bummed that we didn't get Kaiga-nii's class instead. We got to class and things were a bit different. The tables had been rearranged, as well as the chairs. I guess those are for the senior's positioning? Genya noticed our arrival and pointed me to my newly arranged desk. I sat down and just looked at everyone setting up, as I wasn't sure of what I'm supposed to be doing.(Me half of the time-) Also another thing, for some reason me and Genya's seat were arranged at the very back of the class. I was confused, since Genya had said before that he preferred front rows rather than back. I decide to ask him later on during first period. The atmosphere had calmed down a bit, as everyone were in their seats ready. I guess now we're just waiting for the seniors. I decided to take out my sketchbook and doodle something, cuz I had nothing better to do. Then all of the sudden, the classroom door shot opened, much to everyone's surprise. And in came a tall guy with flame colored hair, orange eyes and a huge smile plastered on his face. He kinda reminded me of Senjuro-kun from 1b. "Konnichiwa minna! Sorry we're late!" The guy said in a loud, clear voice. I just stared at him, not really knowing how to react. Was this one of the seniors from class 2a? He seemed very lively and energetic. After he made his entrance the whole class stood up and greeted him. I just followed, not knowing any better. "Konnichiwa, Rengoku-san!" everybody said in union. So he's related to Senjuro-kun, no wonder. "Hai! Good to see that you're all fine! The other seniors will be here in a moment!" Is he always that loud? Anyways, we all sat back down, waiting for the other seniors. After a few moments the class door shot open once again, making us flinch in response. "Can't you open a door normally..?" I heard Murata, who was infront of me whisper. He do be speaking fax tho- (jk XD) This time a guy with short and white hair came in. His collar was undone revealing some of his bare chest. He had scars all over him and his face, he also looked a lot like Genya! I looked beside me to see Genya putting his head down low and he seemed nervous and anxious. Could they be related? Just while I thought, more seniors entered the class. One of them just happened to be... Uzui-san! The guy I bumped into a couple weeks past. I never actually got to talk to him again after the incident. There were also 2 girls, one short with purple-ish hair and the taller one with green and pink hair. Another guy came in with long, raven looking hair. And then a guy with short black hair, along with another kid with long, blue-ish hair. Then what I was suspecting the last student of 2a, a tall, huge guy came in, much bigger than the others. Kinda scared me for a second. So these are the complete seniors of 2a? They seemed so... vibrant? Is that the word? Either ways, everyone had calmed down until the flame head spoke again. "Kagaya-sensei (Sorry if I got the name wrong) had told us the new student was in this classroom, so we shall introduce ourselves to them and anyone else who is not familiar with us!" I sank my head low hearing that, I was embarrassed. Luckily they didn't call me out though. "I'll start with myself! I'm Kyojuro Rengoku!" he said. "Sanemi Shinazugawa." the other said coldly. So he was related to Genya? Speaking of, Genya looked kinda sad when Sanemi-san introduced himself. I wonder why... "Ara, I'm Shinobu Kocho~" the purple haired girl said softly. Kocho? so she's related to Kanae-sama? Wow, I'm so clueless. "Ne, m-my name is Mitsuri Kanroji..." the one with the pink hair said rather shyly. "Ore wa Giyuu Tomioka" the raven head said. "The name's Tengen Uzui" said Tengen-san. Of course I already knew that. "Obanai Iguro." the short black hair said. "Mui... what were we doing again?" the long blue-ish hair one said. Has he forgotten? They had just started introducing, how could he have already forgotten? "Ara, we were introducing ourselves, Mui-kun~" Shinobu-san said to him. "Oh, ok. Muichiro Tokito." He said. "Watashi wa Gyomei Himejima" the tall huge one said. His voice was extremely deep. "And so that's for the introduction of class 2a!" Rengoku-san said, with still the same smile spread wide on his face. "We're hoping to have a fun week, so I hope you're all ready!" he said again. I have no idea what to expect honestly, I don't even know what we're gonna do for the whole week. 

Timeskip to first period

The seniors sat on the other side of class, as we had rearranged the seating places. Lots of them were kinda intimidating not gonna lie, but some seemed nice. Like, for most obvious example, Rengoku-san. He was extremely energetic and his voice was loud, everytime he spoke it sent echoes through the class. Shinobu-san and Mitsuri-san also seemed like quite nice people though. Giyuu-san seemed to be quite a loner, as he sat a distance from the other seniors. Though there was one thing that I couldn't help but notice, it was that Tanjiro and Giyuu-san seemed to be- looking at eachother? Every now and then Tanjiro would glance at Giyuu-san and he would do the same. Was there something between them? The aura Tanjiro set off felt quite different as well.

Tanjiro's pov

After the introduction, came first period. I couldn't help but to look at Tomioka-san, he seemed so lonely. "Leave him be Tanjiro-kun, he's alone because nobody likes him and he has no friends~" Shinobu-sama's words echo through my head. I know it isn't true, because I like him!... as a friend, of course... I guess... I don't really know how to explain it, but like, I love my family and friends all equally, but when it comes to Tomioka-san it feels different... My heart beats faster when I'm around him, but he's just a close friend, right? I've never fallen in love before so I have no idea what I'm feeling. I wanna tell someone but I don't know who. It's a feeling that, I'm not sure if I like or hate it. I'd be damned if I told Nezuko, she would definitely tease me 'till the day I died. I was thinking of talking to Zenitsu about this, but he barely even knows Tomioka-san. Ugh, this is so frustrating. Not only that, but I also have no idea what my sexuality is! Nezuko had bothered me several times with this question, her not knowing that I as well question myself often. I'm also afraid that people would judge me for being anything other than straight, so I'll just keep this whole thing to myself at the moment.

Moshi-moshi! Sorry for the cliffhanger, I'm kinda tired rn. I promise to continue it tomorrow, if possible. And the Uzuzen might be also coming up in the next chapter, so stay tuned!

And again I apologize for the confusing lines, I swear this chapter sounded and made way more sense in my head ;-;
