Only two aisles further, the cat stops in front of a shelf. It just stands there, staring expectantly at Val. This section is called "Royal-Family-Only". The bookshelf isn't as tall and as long as the others. Only a few books are stocked in it. A book with a royal blue cover and gold ornaments immediately catches her attention. Her ring's light has become much stronger now and it somewhat concerns her, but she manages to remain calm. Val experienced enough weirdness in the last hours, a shining ring won't scare her that easily.
She carefully pulls out the book and as she reads the cursive written title, she freezes. That's it. That's exactly what she needed. This is the book that will help her understand what is going on. This book is going to take her home.
Book of the Planetary Goddesses and Gods: Medéis, says the title.
Unbelievable, the cat has brought her here. Val feels guilty for having been made at the cat. She turns to the cat to thank it, but it just walks away unbothered. The cat's done its job. Now it's up to Val.
Eagerly, she opens the first page. All the pages are already of an old yellow, which is weird since the book cover looks as neat as a polished jewel. She flips a few pages and starts reading:
The Planetary Goddesses and Gods: Medéis
The eight Medéis are magical Goddesses and Gods ruled by different planets. The Medéis are physically mortal, but their souls live on. The reincarnation occurs after a maximum of 100 years, if not earlier.
The main Medéis are Sun, Medéi of New Beginnings, and Moon, Medéi of Dreams and Fantasies.
Medéis own Magical Powers gifted by their Sacred Gemstone and have opposite poles which belong together to strengthen one another and find the right balance.
A Medéi's title is ranked by the completion of one's Powers:
Queen and King, the highest-ranking
Princess and Prince, the lowest ranking.

The Medéi of Blood is ruled by Planet Mars. They represent motivation, action, and movement.
The Medéi can develop its Magical Powers with the Sacred Gemstone Ruby, representing the male and fiery energy. Its Powers consist of manipulating a person's blood and taking over their physicality and actions.
The opposite pole is Medéi Venus. With the combined Powers, they create a balance between Fire and Water, Body and Soul, Female and Male energy. They are destined to stand together.
