Val is shocked. Dánica covers her mouth with her hand and backs away in shock. She stutters, "How? What happened? By whom?"

As she asks this, an idea already forms in Val's mind. Would the Prince of the Underworld go this far and hurt his own father? That's a terrible imagination. According to Garan's shadowy expression, her assumption must be correct. And somewhat it doesn't even surprise her as much as it should.

"I knew his presence meant something problematic. I just would've never imagined he would go this far. I guess, he's unpredictable now", Garan affirms weakly. "When I was away, I was called to the palace at once. When I arrived, the first thing I saw was a group of servants standing around a puddle of blood. Prince Ulio told me that Prince Sulo attempted to kill the King, but Ulio arrived just in time and Sulo was able to escape. I only came back to take all the necessary treatments. I need to go back to the palace immediately or the king may not survive the night", he gazes over at Val who has been standing there paralyzed.

"We must act quickly. If he almost beat The Awakening King, imagine how easy it'll be for him to destroy Senfira." Val has never seen him this desperate. Her heart sinks even more. Garan abruptly stands up and with sudden energy, he speeds over to a cupboard. "He's in a coma right now. He lost way too much blood. He may survive but only if he gets treated quickly", he rushes to the kitchen and storms out right away. "Do you need us to come with you?", Dánica suggests. Val steps forward. She wants to help Garan and be by Ulio's side. Garan hesitates for a moment. Val can tell he doesn't want them to come along. Eventually, he gives in.

Thank god, there's a carriage waiting for them outside. At lightning speed, they reach the palace in a short time. Senfira doesn't look at all like Senfira anymore. It has become almost creepy, not because of the darkness but because of how unusual it feels. Senfira is a living city, but right now it just looks dead and abandoned, as if the whole city is in a coma with the King. What a hurting sensation.
