So, that's it, story over, you can go home. Unless you want to hear my little rant, of course.
Soulmate au's have been my favourite kind of fics for, probably, several years at this point and I always wanted to write one. But, as much as I love that whole "being destined for each other" shiz, something in me is just sooo drawn to this whole "in a world where everyone is fated for each other, we're not, but I still choose to love you". I'm a sucker for forbidden romance, I guess? And even though it's not exactly forbidden it has a similar vibe.
At one point I contemplated to actually have Jimins soulmark appear on Yoongis wrist - like, surprise, you actually were destined for each other, but I decided that I didn't like that after all. Felt weird and, like, why would that happen?
Anyways, I'm really happy with how this turned out. Sadly, I really suck at keeping a story going after the couple got together - I just, idk?? What do you do? What happens? I don't want their relationship to be dramatic, and I feel like it has to be if you wanna keep it interesting, so I'd rather just end it there.
I already started writing on my next fic, but I wanna get a head start on it so I don't end up not updating for months again... oop?
