It had been a little over two months since Park Jimin had stumbled into my life and we hadn't failed to eat lunch together at least once a week since then (mostly more than once, though) - always at that same, small Ramen place near campus, so much so that Jimin had made friends with the nice, old lady that owned it and she always greeted us by name.

I never failed to realise how easily Jimin made new friends, seeing as seemingly half the campus greeted him when he walked by, yet he always stuck with our little group - or just me - for lunch.

-

Friday meant no classes and courses for two days, but also no Jimin for two days - unless we planned something to do, which we did not do this week - so I decided to enjoy our last lunch of the week together, even if it was with everyone.

"So, how's it going with Taehyung? I heard you've been texting a lot these days", Jungkook was in the middle of teasing Hoseok about his crush, but I immediately clocked out of that conversation the moment Jimin leaned forward, his hair slightly falling into his eyes - which made my heart stutter for a second - and started silently talking to me.

"I'm thinking of dying my hair again, the pink is getting a little old."

I couldn't help but smile at that, as I started to imagine Jimin's hair in all kinds of different colours.

"What colour are you thinking about?", I asked, just as silently as him, as if we were sharing some kind of secret with each other.

"I'm not sure yet. I'm kind of torn between blue and black. I love crazy hair colours, but maybe a natural one would be fun too after having it pink for so long?"

I nodded along to his explanation and tried to imagine Jimin with black hair, unconsciously biting my lower lip at the prospect.

"I like black. But I think you would look good with any colour."

I couldn't help but smile at the blush that dusted Jimins cheek after my compliment, even when he softly kicked my leg afterwards.

"You're not helping by saying that. So, do you think I should go with black or not?"

The small pout on his lips made me snicker before I could answer his question.

"Ye-"
"Jimin!"

Both me and the boy in front of me turned to look at Hoseok with a questioning look after his sudden outburst.

His flaming red face and Jungkooks uncontrollable giggles behind him indicated that Hoseok was desperately trying to change to topic to something that wasn't his love life, which was only supported by his determined look after Jimins confused "Yes, Hyung?"

"I just realised I never saw your soulmark before, since you always wear a watch. What does it look like? I bet its pretty!"

The whole table went silent after that, Jungkook looking shocked, Jimin looking awkward, and Namjoon and Jin looking uncomfortable - which made sense, since they knew why I was hiding mine and probably thought that Jimin had a valid reason as well.

Jimin fidgeted a bit in his seat and then grabbed his watch with an unsure look on his face.

"I mean... I guess I can show you guys", he muttered and opened his watch.

My breath caught in my throat and my heart picked up an insane pace, as I was carefully watching Jimin take off his watch.

I would know.

In only a few seconds I would know, if... if what?

"Oh, thats pretty!", Hoseok exclaimed as soon as Jimin was presenting his wrist to the table.

A small, black butterfly was decorating his skin right where soulmarks always are.

I barely registered the rest of the table talking about how pretty Jimins soulmark looked, because the blood rushing in my ears was louder, and the stabbing pain in my chest was so strong I had to concentrate to not burst into tears that very moment.

Upon seeing that small butterfly I realised two things.

1: I had fallen in love with Park Jimin.

2: Park Jimin had a soulmate out there, waiting for him.
