Wonwoo knows that he's a smart person. At the very least, he could say that he's intelligent enough to come up with all his published stories and to survive all his classes.

But he has always been baffled by people and emotions. To him, it was just easier to write about it, knowing that all is fictional and for entertainment purposes.
So, of course, he didn't feel prepared to deal with the current situation at hand.

(Y/N) is in love with him. She is in love with him and hates it very much.
Because Wonwoo was oblivious and dense and never noticed anything around him, while everybody else knew of her feelings towards him.

That last part he could understand. After all, Wonwoo knew how oblivious he could be at times. Mingyu and some of his friends would often point out things that should be obvious to him, they even joked how that's the only reason why he's still alive. He often forgot how people could perceive him weirdly or think that he's just emotionless or a cold person. Was that how (Y/N) saw him now as well?

He missed her a lot. It was weird not having her around. They spent so much time together that he barely remembered a time before she started to help him with his writing. As much as he missed her, the thought of having to face her at some point was nerve wrecking to him. He knew that eventually, he would have to talk to her, and even apologize to his friends since he was sort of the reason why the group is divided.

But he's been putting that off so he could think everything through. Thankfully for him, his editors have cut him some slack, especially Jun, and so his writing hasn't suffered much. Wonwoo has gone to school enough to keep his grades stable, but he barely left the house now. His whole "soul searching", or "pity party" as Seungcheol calls it, has been keeping him busy for the last three weeks. Even Jisoo was starting to lose his patience with him after all the times he called him to rant about how confused he was about the whole situation. One time instead of Jisoo, it was Jeonghan who answered and proceed to tell him to get his head out of his ass and just be honest with (Y/N).

But how are you supposed to be honest with someone who loves you despite all the hurt you caused them? More importantly, what did he feel for (Y/N)? Wonwoo knew he liked her. He always enjoyed their time together, whether they were writing or playing videos, and he usually looked forward to it.
He cared about her a lot. Maybe not in the same way he cared about Mingyu or his other friends. After all, Wonwoo had been very persistent in trying to find out who (Y/N) was in love with and he doubts that he would do the same if it were Seungkwan or someone else.

And then there was the time in Jihoon's and Seungcheol's dorm. He had felt really confused about what he was feeling then. But it made sense now. At the time he wanted something to happen between them. He wanted to kiss her. And it wasn't because of his ranging hormones or whatever, it was because he had feelings for her.
He just didn't know what they were then. Did he know what they were now?
He had a vague idea. Wonwoo would figure it out later when he gets to discuss them with (Y/N).

Did (Y/N) even want to talk to him?

From what Mingyu and Seungcheol had told him, she looked mostly okay. Sure, she was sad. Pretty depressed even.
But at least she wasn't moping around like Wonwoo. Mostly because her friends wouldn't let her. Since she's not spending all her time at Wonwoo's apartment anymore, she's been hanging out with Jihoon a lot more, as well as Yeri and Joy. Soonyoung and Seungkwan were still her best friends and they were still attached to the hip.
(Y/N) apparently felt as bad as him about the divide in their friend group and even followed Seungcheol around during theatre rehearsal before gathering enough courage to apologize about everything. Of course, Seungcheol forgave her immediately since it wasn't her fault and he could never be mad at her anyway. She was speaking normally to Mingyu, Seokmin and Hansol as well, but they knew that things weren't quite back to normal yet as much as they wished they were.
