Reverly's POV:
I wake up to the sound of Emily's alarm blaring in my ears.
"Turn it off!" I yell
Emily's groans filled the room as she scrambled to find her phone, desperately trying to silence the blaring alarm. With a quick flick of her finger, she turned it off and jumped out of bed. We wasted no time getting ready for the day and headed to the station, ready for whatever adventures awaited us.
Hotch orders Emily and i to go question the fathers but we came up with no leads so he told me to help JJ with the board while everyone else does their other tasks.
As I walk in the office Jennifer looks up at me and rolls her eyes
"I'd call you a bitch but that would be an insult to all the actual bitches out there" I say
She was about to stick up a finger but Penelope walks in just in time
"You guys better play nice because I'm gonna be in the same room as you and I won't hesitate to smack either of you" she says
I roll my eyes and start pinning pictures to the board as Penelope walks out to get her things
"I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it to the bar tonight" Jareau says
"Do you think I care?" I say without looking at her
"Why are you such a bitch all the time"
I shrug her off, grabbing another picture.
"You know it wouldn't hurt for you to act like you cared" she says
"Actually it would, a lot" I say calmly
"Just being in the same room as you is making me sick"
She rolls her eyes, turning on her heel and striding off. Meanwhile, I get the board all finished.
Barely a beat passes and Strauss is ringing up my phone, so I step outside to take the call.
"Would it kill you to be nice sometimes!"
"She snitched on me! You've got to be-"
"Be nice to her!"
"For what grams?! I don't like her and she's a bitch to me 99 percent of the time we're in the same room"
"Elle is coming back this week, seeing her sister and best friend fighting Rev? she doesn't need the extra stress!"
"Jareau is such a-"
"Be nice or I will suspend you"
"Why do I always have to be the one to cave" I roll my eyes
"Because you're my granddaughter and I gave higher expectations for you"
"Well don't expect me to be nice to her because it's not happening"
"Fine you don't have to be nice but I'd better not hear that you're being rude"
"Whatever"
"I'm serious Rev or I will call your mom, you know she won't be happy"
"Fine!" I say
"I love you Reverly" she says "Just try to be nice to her you never know you might like her"
"Love you grandma" I say before hanging up the phone and returning to the building
"I hope you came back with a better attitude" JJ says
Brushing off her comment, I start pacing in front of the board, lost in a whirlwind of thoughts. My mind racing in a thousand directions. Anger bubbles up inside me—furious at Jareau for ratting me out, yet also angry because it felt like Strauss was in her corner.
JJs POV
"She looks pretty upset Jayje" Penelope says
"That's the point" I say
"Maybe you did a little much, I mean you did call Strauss of all people, she could've gotten in big trouble"
"So what? She's such a bitch all the time it actually hurts"
"Yeah but... I'm gonna go check on her"
"Rev.." Penelope walks in the room
She doesn't say anything
Garcia's eyes meet mine, filled with a sadness that pulls at me. I relent and step through the doorway.
"Reverly you're-"
"You think calling my grandmother is a good look?" She yells
"What?" I say
"Do you think Strauss wants to hear the highschool drama going on in the BAU?"
"N-no"
"I think it is incredibly childish for you to have called my grandma on me because of our differences it makes you look spineless! Can you not fight you own battles Jareau is that it?"
"That's enough Reverly" Hotch says calmly as he walks in
"Hotch-"
"Take a walk Rev" Derek says
She rolls her eyes and storms off
"JJ let's try not to push the buttons of the granddaughter of the director, it doesn't benefit the team when Strauss gets called about horseplay" Hotch says
"Strauss is Revs grandmother?!" Emily's eyes widen
Hotch nods "And Elle is her sister, so it would be benificial for you all to get along with her" he says
"Hotch I didn't know Strauss was her grandmother"
"Yeah but would it be so wrong if you two got along?" Penelope said
"Yes! I mean have you seen the way she talks to me? The way she treats me?"
"The way I treat you! You've been a bitch to me ever since I got here!" McKay walks in hotheaded as ever
"You are both at hand for what happened today so you both are having the rest of the day off" Hotch demands
"But Hotch!"
"You two aren't focused so I'm making the decision that you both need time off, you can regroup in the morning"
"Hotch that's not fair!" McKay says
"I could take the both of you off of this case but I won't"
"You're a bitch" McKay shoots me a remark before dramatically storming out once more, rolling her eyes.
"Not as bitchy as you" I roll my eyes and do the same
