Reverly's POV:
"Well if she doesn't have to be here I don't have to be here I'm going to the hotel" I roll my eyes and slam my hundred on the table
As I'm storming out I catch JJ outside by my car
"What the hell was that!" I say
"Are you seriously asking me that right now? Only if you're on the menu" she mocks
"I was just playing the roll that you wanted to play" I say
"What are you talking about Reverly? I'm just going along with Elle's plan so everyone's happy"
"Well I'm not! I hate this shitty plan"
"Okay but what if I like the plan?"
"Do you like it because you're happy or do you like it because it makes you comfortable?" I ask making her quiet
"Yeah you really gotta think about what's more Important, us or everyone in the surrounding area.."
"Rev-"
"If you don't want to explore this or potentially be something then tell me so we can just go back to hating each other" I say
"It's just all so sudden! we only kissed twice okay a-and this is all so new to me"
"Puhlease!" I scoff
She gives me a confused look
"You think I don't know about you and Emily? And your fling?"
"T-that is none of your business McKay I-"
"I don't want to be mean anymore, I actually like you Jareau but forget it"
I start to open my car door but she stops me pulling me in a bit closer to her.
"Reverly it's just too soon to change, I just found out that your grandmother is the director and Elle is your sister"
"Which you weren't supposed to know" I sigh
"But I do! and Strauss is close with Rossi who came up with the fraternization rule I- I just want it to be us for a minute before we involve everyone in our relationship.." she says
"So this is a relationship?" I give her a half smile
"It's more like a situationship but we can work on it" she jokes
"Yeah we can work on it" I smile
"And plus wouldn't it feel nice to keep something from the team?" She says
"I guess" I bite my lip
"May I?" Jareau comes closer to me
I nod and she pulls me in, giving me a kiss on the cheek. I watch as she walks to her car, she looked so intriguing yet mysterious I just knew I wanted to dive deeper..
Three weeks later:
Jareau hasn't been talking to me as much for the past few weeks, she kisses me on the cheek and we conversate when no one's around but other than that we don't ever communicate.
"So.." Emily says
"So?"
"You talk to Jayje lately?" She says
"And why would I do that?" I say looking at my computer
"I mean I'd talk to someone who kisses me on the cheek" Em says
"What?" I look up at her
"You are so revealing it hurts" she laughs
"What are you talking about Emily?" I ask
