Chapter 18

Cat's POV

I woke up on a soft surface. Wow, mornings do make you delusional. I know I fell asleep on the floor.

I slowly opened my eyes as I sat up, almost falling over in the process because of the squishy surface. Welp, now I know I'm definitely on a bed.

"Wait, then where's Niall?" I mumbled to myself.

Looking over the side of the of the bed, I saw him laying on the floor, cuddling up to a blanket and snoring softly. He looked so cute like that. I just wanted to go down there hug him and cuddle.

I smiled and the thought. That would be nice, just cuddling with Niall. Suddenly I saw him stir and slowly sit up.

I smirked and desided to startle him. "You should have just stayed in the bed. The floor hurts your back like a bitch the next day."

Not expecting me to be awake, Niall jumped a bit then lost his balance (even though he was sitting). He ended up hitting his head off my dresser.

I laughed at him as he regained his composure and held his head in pain.

"Well that's very nice to know, but I think I'll be too focused on the pain in my head to really care for now." He said.

I laughed once more at him then hopped out of the bed. "I'm off to make breakfast. See ya!" Then I skipped out of the room like a loon.

"Wow! These pancakes are amazing, Catherine!" Mel said as she stuffed another one in her mouth.

"No really? I hadn't noticed you liked them so much as you shoved 7 in your mouth in under 10 minutes." I laughed.

She rolled her eyes and fliiped me off. Faking hurt, I placed my hand over my heart and wiped a fake tear.

"Well, if that's how you feel," I said, as I picked up the rest of the pancakes and dumped them in the trash, "you get no more."

Mel jumped up from her seat, mouth still full of pancake, and ran to the trash. She picked up two of the pancake and swallowed the food in her mouth. Then she turned to me.

"How could you!" She wailed.

Just then, Soph walked in and stopped in her tracks. "What's going on here? And where are the boys?" She asked.

"Just teaching Mel a lesson in manners, and they're at a meeting of some sort." I replied. Soon, I was on the floor and I saw a pancake in my face.

"Now you have to eat it." Mel said, smiling evilly at me.

I yelped and squirmed out from underneath her, running to hide behind Soph. Her eyes widened as she realized what I was trying to do.

Soon, we were all playing a game of tag around the apartment.

Niall POV

~one hour earlier~

"Hello, boys!" One of our management, Derek, greeted as we walked into the meeting room.

We all replied back with our "hello"s and "good morning"s. Then we took a seat on the other side of the table.

"So how is your time off going?" He asked politely.

"Great! We're staying with these three girls we met. Melanie, Catherine, and Sophie. They're really cool and we're having loads of fun!" Louis said.

Derek's smile faltered a bit. "That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about." He said. Then, getting straight the the point: "You can't stay with them anymore."
