Soon the 4 returned back to Mondstadt successfully after a long, cold... how should I put it.. adventure..?
Sucrose departed to help a fellow adventurer trying to get the hang of alchemy.
Klee, Albedo, and Kaeya went to the Favonius headquarters to report to Jean about the situation in Dragonspine.
"Thank you Klee and Albedo. I'm sure Sucrose and Kaeya are very grateful. Without you guy's help, who knows what could've happened to those two," thanked Jean, "now Kaeya, do you know where that extra guest bedroom is upstairs? Use that bedroom to recover. Your cold isn't going to magically disappear without rest. I'll report to Sucrose that she needs rest later on."
"I agree with Jean! Kaeya needs rest so he can save me from solitary confinement again!" Klee agreed.
"Oh? Kaeya does that?" Albedo questioned.
"Klee! I told you to not tell anyone about that," Kaeya whispered.
"Oops, sorry! Jean that was a lie!"
"Haha. Now Kaeya, move on. Albedo can accompany you to the Bedroom," said Jean.
(the next few sentences are going to be so hard for me to type due to how I've never typed anything cheesy in stories)
Albedo accompanied Kaeya to the guest bedroom quietly due to how there was a library downstairs.
"Alright Kaeya, as Jean said, rest," said Albedo.
"Rest? No no, I'm going to sneak out. I've done this plenty of times, plus I'm not sick"— Kaeya coughed right after that sentence.
"Your obviously sick. Jean clearly said to get some rest Kaeya."
"I'm fine. That cough was a coincidence," Kaeya said confidently.
"No it wasn't, get some rest."
"I can handle i-"
Albedo pushes Kaeya onto the bed and softly kisses him.
"If that'll make you shut up and rest, then rest."
Albedo walked out of the room and slammed the door.
Kaeya was on the bed, questioning what just happened.
"What...."
He figured it was best to get some sleep.
All he could think about though,
was that strange and sudden kiss.
