"Alright, time to perform the experiment." Albedo said.
He started setting up a giant mechanic that somewhat looked like a... oven..?
"Are we cooking something?" asked Kaeya.
"No, we are not."
Albedo started adding substances that Kaeya has never saw before into the oven looking thing.
Inside of the "oven", it started bubbling a lot and turning purple.
Albedo got out a metal bowl and dipped it into the boiling purple liquid so it would go into the bowl.
He walked over to a clear white snow area with no trees nearby.
He poured it slowly into the snow.
The show started turning purple and soon enough it dug a giant whole into the snow.
Steam was everywhere due to how hot it was.
The area he poured it into started turning a slight purple color.
"Kaeya, just in case something dangerous happens, step back about 8 feet away," Albedo suggested.
"I'm quite strong, I can handle what comes next," Kaeya said confidentially.
"I don't recommend that Kaeya."
Shortly after the snow started turning purple, a strong scent formed.
Suddenly, purple smoke formed quickly.
Albedo did not expect this, looking at the face he was making, that was pretty obvious.
High pitched noises came into the scene as well.
"Kaeya! Don't breath in the smoke!" yelled Albedo.
The high pitched noises made it hard for Kaeya to hear.
"Repeat that again Albedo?"
Albedo ran over to Kaeya and covered his mouth and nose with his hands.
"Don't breath in the smoke."
Kaeya knew the situation once Albedo covered with nose and mouth.
"Isn't it best we get out of this place?" Asked Kaeya.
"Not yet, I need to calm down the smoke in some way, stay here."
Albedo walked over to where the smoke has formed and tried to get rid of it.
After about 23 seconds, the smoke started calming down.
48 seconds later, the smoke disappeared.
67 seconds later, the high pitched sound
disappeared.
Kaeya went over to Albedo once everything disappeared.
"Wow, good job," complemented Kaeya.
"That smoke was most likely caused by a mix of BZO927 liquid I poured in," said Albedo.
Kaeya had no idea what "BZO927" liquid is, but he went with it.
Albedo stood up.
"Let's head back to the base, there I can see what I can do to prevent smoke," Albedo stated, "Now for you, Jean might want you to do something for her, so it might be best to—"
Albedo paused.
"Continue?" said Kaeya.
Albedo didn't respond.
"Something about Jean?"
Albedo fell to the ground.
"Albedo?"
This is quite ironic.

"...."
Albedo opened his eyes.
"..?"
"oh."
Albedo sat up.
He was inside of his base, resting on a small silk blanket.
Kaeya was on a stool, closing his eyes.
"Kaeya?"
It appeared Kaeya has fallen asleep.
How long have I been sleeping?
Oh. It's daylight. It must've have been a rough 5 hours.
Albedo got up from the silk blanket.
His back hurt from laying on a hard ground and a thin blanket.
Albedo went over to Kaeya and moved him over to another stool carefully.
Why is he sleeping here? Shouldn't he be at Patrol?
Albedo went over to Kaeya once again and kissed him softly on his forehead.
That didn't wake him up?
Hm. I suppose I should head over to Mondstadt now.

Kaeya woke up about 27 minutes later.
Oh, I'm on another stool.

A note was right beside Kaeya.
Hello Kaeya. I apologize for sleeping awhile. I have headed over to Mondstadt to prepare for my next experiment. This one doesn't include you, and it a small experiment as well. You won't have to catch a cold this week. I suggest heading over to Jean and apologizing for talking so long to get back to Mondstadt. She probably has a mission for you to do, so head over there quickly if you will. I'll see you next week.
