It had been a couple of day since the nightmare had occurred and lets just say that is messed Jef up a bit. He had not been able to go sleep without the help of Good and when he did his dreams were always of the void with no one in it, not even the monster. In the few days that had passed he felt different. The feeling was not good nor bad in a way it was just different to the way he usually felt. During the days he felt weirdly itchy and was always scratching himself, but that day as he sat on the couch cuddling with Good rubbing his forearm his hand and become bloody doing so.
Jef quickly dashed to the bathroom while God stared at him confused. He lifted up his sleeve to reveal small buds sprouting out of his skin. Pressing down a scream the sight was a horrifying bloody mess as he cleaned up his the wound along with others that he noticed along the way. Panic had stricken Jef as he did these things pondering on wether he should tell the others of keep it to himself.
He wondered about what could've have done these thing until Jef realized the mistake he had made. In the deal he had his part of the deal but what about the creature's. The urge to cry was overwhelming as he sat on the floor deciding to not tell anybody, it was not right of him to dump his problems onto others. Jef sat there for who knows how long, tears trickling down his face, until a there was a knock on the the door.
" Hey, Jef are you ok in there? It's been a fucking hour since you went in."
" Yeah I'm alright."
" Then can you come out I kinda miss you."
Jef had to smile at that. Good usually wasn't very nice to people but when he was around Jef, Good was soft and sorta acted like a cat. The Nightmare Team usually teased Jef about it never daring to do it to Good except maybe Geo. He stood up slowly a bit panicked as he saw more buds on him, but covered them up quickly as he wiped away his tears. Jef opened the door tentatively as he stood before him. Good put a hand on his shoulder
" Doing ok there pumpkin? You look scared and sick."
He didn't answer, just walked past him going to his room. Good took the hint and left. He understood that Jef didn't really have the best of childhoods which in turn caused the nightmares. But he didn't like it at all, it was affecting the way Jef acted. Sure he was shy and quiet but not as much as he was fucking now and Good defiantly did not like the way Jef looked when he came out of that bathroom. He could tell the that the shorter of the 2 had been crying and and he looked terrified. All Good wanted to do was see what was going to talk to him, but he know damn well that Jef was as stubborn as a bull when it came to talking about personal stuff.
As Jef laid in bed the silence was almost deafening. The thoughts that came and went like a roaring river. He felt unsafe to go to sleep without Good, but he had just pushed him away so there was no way that he would comply to it. So he sat there, sleep taunting him, yet he never gave in terrified of what could happen. But sleep was important and hard to avoid seeing as he just pulled an all nighter the other night as well. Slowly drifting off he heard soft whispering of voices that didn't belong to anyone in particular.
He was in the black void again.
Curling up into a ball, everything in is body was in panic mode now as he heard footsteps coming towards him. Only taking a small peak out he realized that there was no one there just the empty abyss. Slightly starting to calm down, he wondered around seeing if he could wake himself up. But that didn't last long as a loud voice spoke up not connect to anything. Jef backed away terrified.
" So my little blossom we have come to the first stage of my side of the deal."
" Have fun~"
Suddenly he was yanked from the dreamscape, waking up for it only to be dark. He was starting to have a panic attack ones that often happen to him a lot. Everything was blurry, he couldn't breathe and then it was darkness once more.
