Dangerous Blossoms

Nightmare House

( This is just bonding time with the nightmare team and  Chirpity and Carl as a headcannon of mine is that Jef and Nightmare act like siblings. Also Jef and Nightmare just call each other brothers)

Good was gone that day for business unknown to Jef. So treating him like the child he is, too much of Jef's dismay, Good sent him over to the Nightmare's house. Now to anyone else going there would have been absolute chaos, but Jef having 'brother' over there was excited.

" Are you ever going to tell me what you are doing? "

" Nope only private information for me and hurry up they're waiting for us. "

As they scurried down the sidewalk to the house, Jef was automatically covering his face seeing as the flowers were very vibrant and noticeable. He was not in the mood to do anymore explaining especially to people he didn't know. When arriving to the house they could already hear the riot from outside. 

Turns out that Chirpity and Carl had visited to see Napsap so that was were all the extra noise was coming from. Good finally rang the doorbell waiting a whole minute or so before Nightmare opened the door for them. Immediately Jef went over to hug Nightmare as Good started to walk away to who knows where.

" Oh! Hey Jef, I already told Chirpity and Carl about your situation. "  Napsap yelled from across the room.

Nightmare started leading him to where Napsap and his boyfriends were sitting. Still hiding his face Jef saw them come into view. 

Chirpity: " So, Jef can we see your face maybe Carl and I can help you? "

Carl: " Now when did I agree to help him?  He got himself into it anyways!"

Napsap: " Oh come on Carl, Jef has helped you when you were in a sticky situation why don't you repay him? " 

Jef could only laugh at the bickering. It was just harmless fighting anyways. 

Jef: " O-ok fine I will, but just promise that you won't throw up it's a bit g-gory. "

And with that Jef revealed his face, showing the bloody oleanders and surprising Napsap in the process as the flowers had spread a bit.

Carl: " What the hell! "

Chirpity: " Oh my god does it hurt! "

Jef: " Y-yeah it does hurt a lot actually, but Good had been helping me. "

Carl: " Well I certainly don't know how the fuck to help you, see Chirpity! "

Chirpity: " But I do have a favor from Redza, maybe we can ask him. "

I guess judging from Jef's uneasy look Chirpity reassured him that he wouldn't tell Redza that it was him with whatever the disease was. During the whole conversation, which had toured away from the flowers, Nightmare was there comforting Jef just like he used to. Soon Geo joined in sitting by Nightmare and Jef listening ,adding his own opinion in from time to time. 

But Jef felt as if their kindness couldn't go unpaid for, so he went to the kitchen and started baking brownies while his brother was distracted. The smell of the goodies soon filled the house, drawing the attention of the others. They all walked in the kitchen, ready for the desserts as Jef started cleaning up.  He was smiling, it was nice to just have everyone, minus Good, here enjoying himself.

 But of course something had to happen.
