What emotion could really describe what he was feeling at that moment? The boy didn't know, his mind felt hazy and numb while his body would not respond to him. He sat there staring at the tragic sight, watching how the flowers engulfed his heart and tore at his skin.
The mother had returned to the site, tear tracks lining her face as she whispered prayers to who knows what god in the everlasting universe. A strange deer looking creature had appeared right besides the goddess sniffing the corpse. She gently fit her hands under the boy and lifted up her deceased son with motherly care.
" You did not deserve to have your life taken away at such a young age, poor little soul."
She guided both of them towards what seemed to an ancient ruin as she set her son down in the middle of the glif. Time just seemed to stop as enchanting words were spoken, nature bent at her will, the deer stepped up the platform as well, laying next to the now glowing figure of the boy light poured out of unforeseen eyes blinder everyone in the vicinity.
The last thing Jef remembered was watching the little boy gaze as his mother disappeared froths life with a terrifying creature at his side, but the boy had trust in the it, for it was there to protect him.
Jef awoke with a jolt and realization
Everything that had happened leading up to this point held an important part of finding this memory. The reason why he was adopted, his mother was gone, the reason why nature was so comforting, he was apart of it, the reason the creature of dark are after him, his mother had broken a law to revive him.
One thing was missing though
Where was that creature that Jef had seen in the remembrance, the ẇ̵͇̪̂̀̎̔͒͗̅ͅe̸̛̻͙̻̠̪̠̘̝̓̾̑̑̎͊̌͛̎͋̾͜͝ͅṇ̵̲͓̗̟̺̝̠̺̲̍̎ͅd̵̩̖̰̝̳͎̼͖̥̲̟̳͉̥͒̔̂͗͌͊̌̈́̎̃͜͠ĩ̵̛̲̥̜̤̺̼͔͉̬̖͔͎̈́̆̏̔̓̾̿̇̽̚g̷̨̛͍͍̫̻͈̺̮͔͓̬̤͔̖̯̓̆̀̌̀̈́͑͘̕͠ǫ̵̇͠͠
As if the monster itself had heard his thoughts it emerged from the forest with majestic glory. Even with the deathly appearance, it's aura was filled with life and care that the Goddess of Life and given it.
"Hello old friend, I'm sorry for abandoning you, but I'm back and I remember. Thank you." Jef said
He had always felt as if something was missing in his childhood and it had come to revel itself, the curse was never the doing of the monster that haunted his dreams, it was another's sick doing that had been successful. Of course the demons of his dreams were ones that had tried to take him back to the afterlife for good.
Jef would never let that happen though, not without saying goodbye tp his friends and family first. Speaking of which the brunette needed to return back to them. The curse of flowers that he seemed to have was still there, yet for some reason he knew the flowers weren't there to hurt him anymore. They were a part of him now that he would learn how to control, nature was a friend not a foe.
" I'm fucking telling you Nightmare I don't know where he went he just disappeared! " Good cried
" Why did you yell at him goddammit, you know he's sensitive! He could very well be out there dead for all we know all he because you were selfish! " Nightmare snarled, he didn't want to lose he brother and he know for a fact Good was devastated, but anger was just a filthy human emotion.
" Please everyone calm down we need to organize some groups to go find him I'm begging of you!" Tech sobbed
A knock was heard on the door and everyone's heads snapped towards it. In a flash Jef leaped on Good and smothered him with passionate kisses and he sobbed, it felt like he had been taken away from him for years. Good sat there cradling his lover as Jef snuggled into his fur with a sigh of relief. Many mixed emotions were played around the room at the scene that had unfolded before them, slowly Jef raised his voice to retell the story of events that had happened, ending with confusion on many of their minds. They could never really understand what recurred but excepted it nether the less, seeing the look of peace on their friend's face.
For once Good felt kind towards everyone and invited them to stay at the cozy house as everyone was weak from worry. Old childhood movies played and childish playing was created, such beautiful times like these would forever be burned in their heads.
With a soft yawn Jef wiggled closer towards the warmth that Good produced and drifted off to a dreamless slumber. Good stared his partner and hugged him gently, reminiscing on the events that occurred.
It was finally time to heal
