Ameerah
When I walked through the door I could hear Odell yelling at someone. They still on the bullshit I see.
"Nigga you did what?!" Odell yelled.
The first thing I seen was the four of them sitting on the couch before their attention turned to me.
"Oh shit Ameerah. Wassup witchu?" Luke asked.
"Same shit as always." I said smartly.
"We ain't seen you in a minute. You good?" He asked.
"Nigga don't be tryna change the subject cause she here. What you mean you got somebody pregnant?!" Odell yelled again.
"You got somebody pregnant?" I asked.
Luke sighed and said "Yeah man. I knocked her up about a year and a half ago... If we being honest, I don't even remember her."
"How you know shawty ain't lying? Bitches known for that bro." Odell said.
"DNA don't lie man." Luke said.
"You needa do yo own test. Fuck that. We don't trust these hoes." Duke said.
I looked over at him and rolled my eyes when he said that.
"I ain't mean it like that." He said.
"I know what you meant." I replied.
"Okay so the baby's yours... now what?" I asked.
"She want me to keep her. Full time." Luke said.
"Full time?! This is more than stepping up. We talking bout you taking on the mother and father role." Odell said.
"What? You don't think I can do it?" He asked.
"Nah bro it's not that." Odell said.
"Then what is it then?" Luke asked with some bass in his voice.
"What he's trying to say is... what you're about to do is commit to more than just being apart of their life. You're choosing to be there forever. No breaks. You gone be all they know." I said.
"We gone help you obviously but we just wanna make sure you understand how big this is." I added.
"How can I not understand how big this is? You talking to me like i'm this nigga or something." He said pointing to Odell.
"Well you have been acting out so I don't know what to expect." I said.
He looked at me and then sighed.
"So who the God parents gone be?" Ryan asked changing the subject.
"Obviously it's gonna be me. He probably not gone tell y'all though to spare ya feelings." Odell said.
