5 Years Later
Taehyung gazed at the Kim residence from inside his car. It looked gloomy today just like everyday but it looked a bit more gloomier today. He sighed as he pursed his lips, the reason for the gloominess replaying in his mind.
5 years ago, Nirvani had suddenly disappeared, with no information about her, no clue on where she had gone, nothing. It was as if she disappeared into the thin air or dug a secret path in the earth. This left Mr Kim, Ashita, Chanwoo, Jasmine, the boys–even Yoongi in shock and despair.
Ashita and her father along with her uncle and aunt would cry most of the time, wondering where she had gone but nothing was ever discovered. Soon, as time passed by, they got over the pain from Nirvani's disappearance and kept moving on in their lives.
Ashita and the boys except Jungkook, had graduated from university and had their own jobs. Jungkook was in university, in his final year and was going to join his father in the business just like the rest of the boys. They had shown interest in doing so, so their parents agreed to their wishes.
Taehyung sniffed slightly as he got out of the car and looked at the gates before walking towards it. The security guard smiled at him and opened the gate once he recognized Taehyung, letting Taehyung in. "Miss Ashita is inside—no one actually has stepped out of the house.."the guard said as he bowed at Taehyung.
Taehyung smiled at him and nodded his head, internally chuckling. Of course they won't, today is the day, he thought and sighed as he walked up to the main door. He rang the doorbell and waited and after a moment, the door was opened by Chanwoo. Chanwoo smiled slightly at Taehyung.
"Hello, Taehyung. Come on in.."he said huskily. Taehyung cleared his throat as he bowed slightly and smiled at Chanwoo. "Hello Uncle Chan"Taehyung said as he followed Chanwoo in the house. As he walked inside, Taehyung could see Mr Kim sitting on the couch with a newspaper in his hands, looking as gloomy as ever.
Mr Kim's eyes averted towards Taehyung as he walked in and he smiled at the latter. "Morning Taehyung. Ashita's in her room, doing, well...you know"Mr Kim said as he gulped harshly. Taehyung bit his lip momentarily before bowing at Mr Kim. "I'll take care of her"he said and Mr Kim nodded and waved him off.
Mr Kim knew about Taehyung's and Ashita's relationship 3 years ago. He got to know that they had started dating about some time before Nirvani had disappeared. Nonetheless, he had given his blessings to the both of them along with Taehyung's parents.
Taehyung breathed in deeply before jogging up the stairs towards Ashita's room. He smiled as he reached Ashita's door, opening it enthusiastically. As he opened his mouth to announce his arrival, his heart broke at the sight of Ashita.
