6 Days Later
Ashita sighed as she stepped into the huge mall, Nirvani following after. "Finally! It's cool over here.."Nirvani muttered loud enough for Ashita to hear. Ashita chuckled as she turned to look at Nirvani. Nirvani looked to see Ashita staring at her. "What?"she said and Ashita laughed at her whilst rolling her eyes.
"Don't be dramatic Nirvani. It's not that hot outside, it's bearable.."Ashita said, pointing out the obvious. Nirvani rolled her eyes and walked ahead of Ashita and looked around the mall. "Hey! Wait up!"Ashita exclaimed as she ran to Nirvani and matched with the pace of her sister as they walked around the mall.
"Why are we even here?"Ashita suddenly asked making Nirvani stop in her tracks and glare at her sister. "Why? Oh, I'll tell you why. It's because someone said to Mr Kim that she wanted to buy stationeries"Nirvani said as she rolled her eyes. Ashita chuckled nervously as she remembered what she had told her father.
Nirvani frowned as she saw Ashita being nervous all of a sudden. "Ashita. Do you really have to buy—"
"Shut it! Shh! And um, what do you mean by "Mr Kim". Remember, you have to call Mr Kim, appa, now"Ashita spoke, cutting Nirvani off, dodging her question. Nirvani crossed her arms on her chest and looked at Ashita knowingly. "Okay, I forgot but tell me, did you lie to appa about buying stationeries?"Nirvani asked with a small smirk on her lips.
Ashita's breath hitched as she laughed nervously, fanning her face. "No, there's nothing to lie about. Tomorrow's our last day of staying home and I wanted to be sure that I have everything ready—"
Nirvani interrupted Ashita as Ashita had started to talk fast. That was one of Ashita's traits that she always does when she's lying. And Nirvani knew that. "Ha! I knew it! You don't have to buy anything. You were lying. So now, tell me why are we really here"Nirvani said as she smirked at Ashita.
Ashita sighed and pouted at Nirvani.
"Okay, fine! I lied! But it was for a good reason. Appa wasn't letting us do anything outside the house, he didn't let us go anywhere—not even, the park. So, I thought of this excuse and, walla! We're finally, out of the house"Ashita said as she smiled brightly.
Nirvani chuckled and gave Ashita a high-five. "Cool! So, what do you wanna do?"Nirvani said as she looked around briefly. Ashita shrugged. "Eat?"she suggested and Nirvani laughed. "We sisters, enjoy eating. Let's go!"Nirvani exclaimed as they walked to the food court and having a small conversation on the way.
As the 2 girls walked to the food court, Ashita noticed a tall and built figure, following them.
It was the same man who had been following both the girls ever since they left home. Ashita got scared a bit and Nirvani had noticed because as they were walking, she could see Ashita suddenly, zoning out from the conversation while glancing behind her. Nirvani stopped Ashita midway by grabbing her wrist and making the girl face her.
