𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟿

   I sip my ice coffee— what? It is just the beginning of winter, ice coffee isn't going to freeze me. I watch as Kudō Shin'ichi and Hattori Heiji began to look around for clue. Since the private island is quite far from mainland, the police didn't come yet.

   "You just sit here and watch them?" Kai asked, sitting beside me. He too, sipping his hot chocolate that I bet has more than a ton of chocolate. "I am, if I go and solve it, it will be solve faster than it should." He give me a look that said 'are you trying to boast your ability as great detective here'.

   I snicker. "I already find out the killer from sitting here. Will Heiji or Shin'ichi find them faster." Kai looks at me with petulant looks. "Them, so the killer is not a person." I laughed. "Five minutes." I said to Kai. He looks at me disinterestedly. Seeing that I won't change my mind he sighs.

   "I know Shin'ichi better than you Shin." he said. "3, 2, 1—" — "I know the killer." Kudō Shin'ichi said confidently. I gape. I am really that predictable? He grins. "Tehee, I win Shin-chan. So, on your 16th birthday, we are doing it." he give me his best smiles.

   I guess love is stupid since I nods and agreed without batting an eyelash. Kudō Shin'ichi present the prove perfectly. I watch how the person I used to be in front of me. "There's only one truth and the victim is kill by using—"

  "That's to say! Akagawa Mamoru. The reason you kill Aikawa Yukieha is because you did not agree with her marriage right?" the man huffed.

  "When she's killed I was in the toilet and you saw me yourself." Shin'ichi smirks. That's what KID said victory smirk huh. "Yes, the murder could not be done if you are in the toilet that time, but it would be perfect if the one that carry out the murder is not you!"

   He point out the finger towards one of the suspects. "Abhuraya Eimi, Aikawa-san's bestfriend. You actually use her to kill Aikawa-san. Am I wrong, Akagawa Mamoru or should I say The Protector Of Red River. You actually are the descendants of the missing family that owned this island right?"

   The man proud face went dark when Shin'ichi said so. I watch with amusement. "Well, seem like he miss the main evidence." Kai sighs. I look at him when he said that 'I' miss some evident. "He's just too rash and young. Don't worry, he'll realize it soon."

   "That woman deserve to die! She's trying to seduce Mana and now she said she's marrying someone else!" the man kneels down, crying his way out. "Case closed." when Inspector Megure wanted to take the man away, I cough, earning some concern look from everyone.

   "That's not good Kudō, you miss out the important part." I stand up. Kai smiles. Well, the organization won't said anything about me being a detective right? "If Abhuraya-san is used to kill Aikawa-san, it won't be possible because the trap need to be pulled by right hand."

   Everyone looks at the woman. She's start to back away. "However, Abhuraya-san is left-handed." I walk towards the trap they used to kill the victim. "If Abhuraya-san didn't know about the trap, she will be the one die. Because if you swing it using you left-hand." I demonstrate the action.

   Everyone gasped when they see what will happens. Smiling, I look at the woman sternly. "Abhuraya Eimi you're actually Aikawa Yukieha right?" she look at me scared.

   "People might do not noticed this but Aikawa-san and Abhuraya-san have similar features and with a bit of make-up, they would look alike. You guys actually siblings right? The protector of Red River and the snow that protected by his brother."

   She screamed and run forward with a knife but Kai pinned her down quickly. "What a pity, you thought of stealing her identity right? Because you wanted to marry your own brother, your family really trust the legend of your ancestors. The bloodbath of solitude." I grin widely.

   "A pity but changing your guys family name to red and river and pond is just predictable. We detective tend to look deeper than we should." she glared at me with pure hatred. "Did I broke her?" I said towards Kai. He smiles and pat my head.

   "You're scary when it come to this kind of hidden truth." I shrugged and look at the pair being pulled inside the helicopter. "That's great deduction. I didn't know that you're that perceptive." I grin hearing the word from Shin'ichi.

   "I'm sorry, can I interview the three of you. I am a reporter but I am having my honeymoon here. However, it kind of amazing looking at the three of you." a woman asks. Her husband smiles at us shyly.

  "Sure, you should interview the two here." I said, shoving Heiji and Shin'ichi. They both laughs. "What about you." she asked. I smiles. "I am just a nobody. Just a nobody." I look at Kai and we grinned.

   They next day, the news about Detective oh the East and Detective of the West, son of Kudō Yuusaku and Fujimine Yukiki solved a murder case together with son of Superintendent Hattori Heizo. Lots of news come out, but one of them state about a mysterious detective.

   "I like this titled." I said, giving the newspaper to Kai. He smirked before reading it aloud. "If Kudō Shin'ichi is Modern Sherlock Holmes, Hattori Heiji must be his Watson. Does that mean the mysterious detective is Mycroft Holmes?" Kai laughs.

   "You're great back then but it seem like you don't plan to be a detective." I shake my head. "Sharon-baasan and Chris-nee won't be happy if I be a detective. I will make people dig about my family and all. I don't want to see someone write a title about my family name."

   Everyone just nods, understanding. "I wonder what family you came from. It is the most mysterious thing here." Kudō said. I smile and look at Kai. He smiles before pulling me inside his embrace. "You guys will know it one day. We are just some small family."

   Wanting no more from us, we start our plan. Well, first task done.
