   "Shin, Kei? Do you even heard me?" both of us slowly turn around towards the person. "O-oyaji?" Kai coughs. The man, Kuroba Toichi's smiles. "We are going on a date." good Kai, good.

   "Oh, so you guys have confess to each other?" Toichi said with mirth. Kai scratch his head. "Yes, something like that." I cough, and the suppose son and dad look at me. "I'm glad that you look livelier now." Oyaji smiles.

   "I'm glad that I meet both of you." he said softly. I guess Kaito is really strong, I won't be able to meet my dad without giving up on my knees. "We are taking our leave. See you later oyaji." Kai said, pulling me to the subway.

   However, unaware to me and Kai, the man look at us sadly. "If only I know who both of you really are, I would certainly stop investigating." he walks away.

   I sigh. "Do you think he heard?" Kai shakes his head. "He won't, I am pretty sure he thought we are enemy by now." I frown. "Why don't you tell him the truth?" Kai smiles. "I want to protect that little family. I am sure Kaito would be happier this way."

   "It's up to you, I won't say anything." when we arrived at Beika station, we walk home. However, I might or might not have somewhere in mind. The holidays just about to ended.

  "I don't believe I agree to this." Kai said, looking at me with pure disdain. "Don't be mad, Heiji won't mind too." I grins.

   "Yo! KAI, SHIN!" a tanned skin teen run towards us. A loyal ponytail girl behind him. "It's been a long time Heiji, Kazuha." I said towards them. "It is." Kazuha said cheerfully. "Both of yer don't change at all." Heiji slid his hand around my shoulder.

   "Ehem." Kai coughs, pulling me away from Heiji. "Chill. I won't take 'im from yer." Heiji said but I blush at the words. "Hei—Heiji!" they laughs at my shyness. "I will tour ya' around Osaka! There is lot of delicious food in Osaka!"

  We bid our farewell before going back to Beika. Heiji smiles before sending us off. "Heiji, be sure not to make Kazuha wait long." I said to him before running to the train. Heiji blush madly. He regret not telling Kazuha his feelings in his last life, that's why I hope he will appreciate her now.

   We wave our goodbye before separately go our way. Now the second semester is starting. I see Shin'ichi and Ran walking together. "Mouri, Kudō." I wave toward them. They smiles at me before nodding their head.

   "Suzuki isn't here?" I wonder. "Sonoko need to go to France. It seem like the main company of CrEd in France wanted to included the Suzuki in their next program." Ran sighs.

   I nodded. "The fashion design program. It look like CrEd and Fusae are thinking of opening a boutique for clothing. They probably wanted to bring their newest projects to Japan. That's wonderful, Haibara will love to have another Fusae collection."

   "You seem to know a lot of information in this." Shin'ichi said. "The CrEd should be closed few years ago. However since they are worldwide brand and the heir of CrEd still alive, they ask people to manage the company." he stated those fact nonchalantly.

   "Well, poor the child." both of us look at Ran. Sensing our curiosity she said. "Well, when he grows up, he need to manage the company right? It must be lots of pressure." Shin'ichi seems to though of it. "Well, he could just sold the company. It not like he has too."

   "You seem to be so sure of it." I shrugged. "It just kind of sad." I whisper. "Anyway, he's really mysterious. Nobody know who the child and what is his gender. He seem so lonely." Ran said. "No news about his gender or anything?" I ask. In my last life, Shin's gender is announced when he died.

   "Well, he is a trilloonaire after all. It must be scary. How did he keep his money?" Ran wonders. "Well, probably around the world." I snicker. "What's wrong Edogawa-kun?" Ran asked.

   "Well, Suzuki and Kudō are rich too. It kind of funny hearing you guys talking about where the CrEd keep their money." Shin'ichi sighs. "You're weird." he creeps out.  The three of us walk to our class.

   As usual, school days went smoothly until winter come and greet us.

   "Well, it look like the Suzuki and CrEd collab went well. They even announced that a year from now if the sale hit the highest rank, they are sponsoring Sonoko's class to ski trip."

   "It sounds nice, ski trip heh." I mumbles. I didn't even understand what the devil plans. But everything will stay good. I will do everything I can to stop every danger for these people I love.

   "Well, next winter aside. This winter, anyone got plan?" Sonoko asks. "Well, I plan to go to my aunt's private island to enjoy this winter with Kai and his friends. Do you guys got some free time?"

   They look at each other. "Kai? That butler of you?" Sonoko nose wrinkles. "He is my childhood friend. I just has him as my family now. He practically not a butler but he has the habit of calling me young master." they nods.

   After talking them to go to the private island, we parts ways. How nice to be rich actually. If only I know that devil has something planned. I would not ask Shin'ichi to go with us. He's just trying to make situation become hectic.

   "Kai, did Kuroba and his friend wanted to go with us?" I said, jumping on my bed when I get inside the room. "They are, how about Kudō and his friends?" I nod. "The plan is a success. Probably it is not a good idea but it is fine too."

   "Hey, Vermouth said the private island is open to outsider now. I didn't know when but it look like Sebastian really did something incredible." I groan. "He just did what he like that two timing devil." as I said those words, I could feel the phantom burn on my ear where the mark located.

   I walk to the mirror and tie my long hair, the mark on my left ear could be seen. It is small but a keen eye would see it. "Heed my call, Sebastian." I order the devil to appear.
