"How are you?"
"Still limping... oh but fine I finished school finally!" Ambrose cheered sarcastically.
Allison was looking at his crutch like she always did when she saw him, it was hard for her not to look at it but she finally looked at him processing what he said, "You graduated? Why didn't you in-"
"I did... Vanya was the only one there." She nodded apologetically.
"Sorry about that so..."
"Hm it's funny dad called me a couple of days ago and he was perfectly fine... but odd he congratulated me for getting my bachelor's but told me to be home by today..." They looked at each but Allison was in disbelief hearing that.
"That is a surprise to hear..." She said quietly but he walked down the stairs causing her to panic but reminding herself that he didn't like to be helped so she left him alone as he disappeared.
Ambrose stared at the large painting of Five and he sighed, "Still missing him I see?" He looked at the bar to see Klaus; he wasn't surprised to see him there.
"Make me a drink will you."
"Oh of course! Anything for my favorite drinking buddy!" Ambrose chuckled while walking up to the bar but he began to stare at where Ben was sitting, It was no secret that he could see the undead like Klaus if anything he could do about everything that anyone in the household could but he smiled winking at Ben who nodded happily at him.
"So rehab? Again?"
"No no I quit all that you know! I'm completely sober! But you! You're a doctor right?"
"No, I'm not giving you drugs, I'll give you a free therapy session though." Making Ben laugh at the banter Klaus wiggled his finger at him and gave his drink.
"So how was college this year? What's college gonna be like next year?" Ambrose drank his drink and sighed.
"No more school than me this was the last year actually, I was supposed to be here helping Reginald with his work regarding us."
"But he is dead!" Klaus cheered "well he is dead so what's plan b?"
"Find Five. I can feel him but... I just can't put my nose on it."
"Better be careful last time you talked about this-" Ambrose glared at him, making him halt. "Not ready for discussion... sorry..."
"Here, finish my drink..." Ambrose got up and disappeared into the kitchen while Klaus cursed himself for a second before going back to his normal antics.
Ambrose noticed Grace cooking and Diego sitting cleaning his knives, "She talking much?"
Diego looked at him and stopped for a moment. He seemed surprised to see Ambrose at all, "Not really..."
"I can fix her."
"There is nothing to fix Mom's fine." Grace looked at Ambrose and she smiled slightly.
"Hello, Angel, Egg whites?"
"Please like always." Ambrose sat in a chair at the table and set his crutch to the side Diego glanced at it and sighed.
"Heard you finished... So what are you planning on doing?"
"Coming here to help Pogo and Mom every chance I get..."
"Don't you have a life outside of studying and here?"
Ambrose groaned he was often annoyed by Diego only because he reminded him of Luther but at least he knew that Diego wouldn't do what Luther had done, "Honestly, no Diego if you think about it I lost my family then gained a new one and half of us don't talk much to each other especially after what happened." The energy in the air was tense as Diego's eyes met someone else's and he knew who it was.
