"Hey, wake up." Ambrose groaned as he was shocked awake by Five.

"Mmm, what time is it?"

"Doesn't matter let's go."

"What about Vanya?"

"I told her and you everything. She doesn't believe me unlike you, but I have a lead and we have to follow it." Ambrose sighed as Five helped him get up.

"We aren't going out the window again are we?" Five shook his head as he grabbed his hand quietly leaving Vanya's apartment.

On the journey back to the car Ambrose suddenly remembers waking Five up from a panic attack he had earlier that night he couldn't help but feel bad if Five couldn't sleep because of him, "Five... I'm sorry about-"

"You can't control your panic attacks, it's fine."

"But you need sleep too."

"I promise you I fell back to sleep after I knew you were ok and asleep. Plus I woke up a few minutes ago so it's ok."

"Are you sure it's ok? And why do you have that you didn't tell me about." Five pulled an eye out of his pocket showing him the eye. Ambrose took the eye from him examining it but then Five took it back, "Did that come from the future?"

"Yes, and it may be a lead to what caused the apocalypse." As Five said that he spatial jumped into the car Ambrose threw his hands up in the air in defeat.

"You know I can't spatial jump every two seconds as you can!" Ambrose rushed to get into the car to witness Five trying his hardest to not laugh. "You son of a bitch. Are you laughing at a struggling cripple!"

"Uh. No!" He laughed.

"You know what! For someone with the subconscious of a 58-year-old you're definitely acting like a damn 14-year-old!"

"Says the person who still looks like a 14-year-old." Five had lost his mind and AMbrose was so close to beating him with his crutch.

"And you don't?" They both stared at each other in silence.

You could say the silence was very loud.

"I'm gonna start the car."

"Yeah, no start the car."

Ambrose and Five stood in a building wandering and scanning the place, it wasn't Ambrose's first time being in a place like that. A couple of years ago he came here with an old roommate for something regarding a lost limb they had, at that time Ambrose had already earned his second master's degree.

"Uh, can I help you?" A man in a lab coat said gaining the boy's attention.

"I need to know who this belongs to." Ambrose had insisted on talking to him but he told him he could handle it and that he should hang back but Ambrose ended up following him in the building.

"Where did you get that?"

"What do you care?" Ambrose shook his head and all he could think was "Way to go idiot."

The man looked at him up and down confused until Five fixed his act, "Me and him... found it... at a playground, actually. Uh, must have just... Popped out." The man looked at Ambrose in almost a disgusting way making Five take a mental note on that, "We just wanna return it to its rightful owner"

"Oh... what thoughtful young men." The lady nodded at the boys as the man spoke, ambrose couldn't help but get closer to Five so he didn't do something stupid.
