My mom threw down the key to our apartment out the window, yeah it's easier that way to just have her let me in. Now to run up three flights of steps to the top floor, i can't even complain, mom used to carry me up all three when i fell asleep in the car till i was 10 years old. I turned to the right to unlock our front door and i walked inside."Sorry mama, a man stopped me and asked for directions, it took me awhile to explain the turns." I couldn't tell her the truth, she'd never let me outside again. As i took my jacket off I padded my pockets to realize I must of dropped my wallet during the struggle, fucking hell man, can't catch a break.
"Ronnica!" "Veronica!" Both my sisters yelled out running from out their room. Mom turned her office into their room when Daniella the older of the two was born, Brianna was a surprise. My mom and i had rooms right next to each other, connected by a door.
"Hey! Why are we screaming?!" They laughed at my corny joke. "I bought hunny buns and ice tea's." They enjoyed them as did I (A/N, I advise to try hunny buns sooo good). I got them one every weekend. They unwrapped them quick and stuffed their mouths, to funny.
"Mama!" I yelled as she exited my room to het to the hall, she smiled but i could see how tired she was. "Another long day at work mama?" She worked 24/7 basically, but she was her every night to kiss the girls good night and watch an episode or two of Saturday night live with me. I brought the girls to school and worked in the corner store to help out.
"Yes, but I'm all good. How was your day?" She yawned and i felt bad. I took out a toblerone chocolate bar and Yellow tail red wine bottle, she smiled and hugged me thanks. And NO my mom is not a drunk, but a glass of wine is nothing but relaxing.
"Go relax ma, i got the girls ok?" I pushed her lightly back toward her room. "Say night to mama girls"
"Night mom" "Good night mommy" they said with mouths full of hunny buns. Mom didn't wanna go to bed but the tiredness won over and she left saying good night to the girls and bunches of kisses.
"Ok girls, wrap them up, you can have the rest before school tomorrow. Go wash your mouths and hit the sheets, less go less go" i said clapping my hands, walking them to the bathroom we all shared, once washed up I carried them to bed, tucked them into their Frozen blankets. "What are you watching tonight?" They both yelled out "Frozen"... Go figure man. After turning the movie on, i checked to make sure their toes were covered, not their faces. I went to my moms room having to walk through mine first. She was asleep, even my mom looked peaceful, made me smile and feel relaxed. I covered her up, making sure her toes were covered and not her face. I left her room after turning the tv off and closing the door. Half way out to the hall i heard a knock at the door.
"Who the hell could be at my door at the time at night?" I said to myself, looking at the clock on the wall, 11:58 p.m. Nearly twelve in the damn morning. I grabbed the gun we kept behind the book shelf near the door, closed my sisters door and looked through the peephole seeing...
