Holy smokes! I can't believe what my momma just told me. My hero from tonight just gave me and my familia the greatest gift ever. Our momma back our familia back. I ran out to the living room where I saw Nick and Enrique sitting on the couch watching NSPN in a comfortable silence. I couldn't help myself, I ran up and jumped into Enrique's lap, straddling him and squeezing him into a hug.
"Thank you thank you. You have no idea what you this means to me and mi familia. Your my hero times ten right now and forever." I said into his neck and his arms embraced me.
"Anything for my lil mama." He said and kissed my cheek. He smiled and went back to watching the game still holding me.
Amazing how one bad luck moment can make a huge difference.
*3 hours later*
Nick was knocked out on the couch and Enrique and I were cuddling in my room watching lawless (I could watch this movie forever). Yes I'm cuddling with a gang member, and he was playing with my hair.
"Shorty I gotta bounce in a few." He said and kissed my neck.
"No." I whined like a little child. "Stay with me tonight." I turned to face him. He was so handsome, not pretty boy rich CEO handsome. But strong I-survived-and-lived-to-brag scars kinda handsome, and that is what I like.
"I can't tonight Shorty. I got some business ta take care of. I'm sorry." He said. I frowned and got sad. I don't know why, but I gelt so attached to him, safe even. "Don't be sad lil mama." He smiled, noticing my blush at his new nickname for me.
"Here" I rolled over and reached into my top draw of my night table. I grabbed the box I needed handing it to him "It's the spare key to the apartment. Come back in one piece (i love that song by DMX and Aaliyah). He grabbed the box and looked inside, he grabbed my hand and kissed it.
"It'll always come back whole for you lil mama. I'm your thug daddy. Si?" He used the name I called him moments ago as we layed down.
We got up and I walked him to the door. He leaned down before stepping away to kiss each of my cheeks. Then he left. I smiled as I heard him tell me to lock up. After I locked up tight only then did I hear him leave. I turned around to see Nick still sleeping. I walked to my room to grab one of my four blankets and draped it over him.
"Goodnight big bro" I kissed his forehead and headed to bed. I fell asleep thinking about how I could fall for a thug who acted like a knight.
