I was up early cleaning and making breakfast for myself. I had fed my baby and she was watching her cartoons in the living room.
I haven't heard from Draco and that's a good thing I guess I just hope he isn't anywhere being stupid.
I ate my food and washed my dishes then I went to pack her diaper bag and me a bag.
I wouldn't say I was leaving but I was gone take a mini trip to get away.
Hearing the front door open and close I took our bags downstairs to only be met with Draco.
I placed them on the counter as he was smiling and making Lani laugh.
"Hey daddy's baby"
I sat at the island and scrolled on ig to distract myself from him. I missed him but after last night idk what to think.
"Karis" he said walking by me. "Wasup"
"Why you got them bags" he asked but Ian say nothing.
"Where yo ring at" he asked while grabbing my hand softly.
"Upstairs" I said dryly. "why ain't it on yo mf finger"
"I needed a break from it"
"Ight I heard you" he said walking away.
"You ain't answer my question tho"
"I don't have time for this I'm not finna argue today" I said standing up and walking to the living room.
"Nah Karis we gone talk.. all that bull shit you pulled last night" he said following behind me.
"Nigga Ian do a thing that was all you" I said sitting on the couch.
"Karis why you keep fucking trying me huh" he asked.
"Denzell" I said calmly. "My head hurts I'm not tryna argue right now" I said rubbing my temples.
"Ight Karis" he said kissing Lani's head and grabbing his keys and leaving.
I made sure I heard his car pull do before I cut the tv off and grabbed Lani and put her in her car seat.
Grabbing our bags I sat them outside the door and I grabbed her and took her outside and put her in the car.
Locking the door I grabbed the bags and put them in the trunk and then I got in and pulled off and drove to the nearest gas station.
Sliding my card in the machine I got some gas and filled my jeep up. After that I got in the car and sent a text to everyone.
Putting on my seatbelt I went ahead and pulled off. I was driving to the one place I knew I could have space and that was my daddy's cabin he left me when he passed.
So I started my 3 hour drive as my baby girl slept.
- 1 hour and 30 minutes in -
"ok baby I hear you" I said pulling over because Lani started crying. I pulled over at a gas station and made her a quick bottle.
I paid for the gas at the pump as she ate. "You got a dollar pretty lady" some crack head asked.
"Um here" I said grabbing two 10s and handing them to him. "Hood bless you" he said walking away.
After the gas finished pumping I cut on some air as Lani watched her iPad and I locked the doors and ran into the store to pee.
After handling my business I got some snacks and some water and left. Getting back in the car I seen she went back to sleep.
Placing the snacks in the passenger seat my phone started ringing but I didn't answer.
I pulled straight off and got back on the highway.
Incoming call from: brother d💕
I didn't really wanna answer but it's demon so why not.
"Hello" "Sus where you at" he asked me. "The highway why" "Nigga be fr" "I'm going somewhere" I said "See thing is I know some happened" "Demon nun happened" I said "Ight then" "Love u Demon I'll call you toma" "Ight love u to Karis" he said sounding irritated
I ended the call and the music started back playing and I drove the last 2 hours we had.
- at the cabin house -
I had finally arrived to the house looking caning and it was so spacious and gorgeous. Getting Lani out the car I took her up to the door and I unlocked it and pushed it open.
Taking her in there I cut on the lights. Going back outside I grabbed our bags and locked the doors to my car.
Going in I placed the bags on the floor and locked the door.
Taking the snacks and drinks I had bought I put them in the kitchen.
Walking back to the living room area I grabbed her out her car seat and took our bags and went to the back to the master.
Laying her in the middle of the bed I put the bags on the floor and went to run her some bath water.
Going back to the room I unpacked our bags and also got her undressed and put her in the tub.
Washing her up I rinsed her off and got her out. Drying her off I put on her pamper and onesie and made her another bottle.
Laying her in the middle of the bed again I let her watch her iPad as I got undressed and went to hop in the shower.
After my 20 minute shower I had dried off and put on my clothes and now I was in the bed patting her back as she laid on my chest.
Of course Mymy and Jazz knew where I was because I told them but I ain't tell nobody else. I heard my baby snoring lightly so I laid her next to me and watched tv till I dozed off.
