I love this one.

"She said my wings were beautiful..." Hawks whispered to himself as he stared at his phone, the French translator pulled up, "She said my wings were beautiful..."

"What are you rambling about over there?" Endeavour asked with a grimace.

"Something someone said to me last night..."

"Don't women always tell you that your wings are beautiful?"

Hawks looked away from him, almost embarrassed, putting his phone into his pocket, "But they don't say it in French..."

She was roused from her slumber with rapid knocks on her door. Stumbling forward as she shot up from her chair to answer, feeling a panic building in her stomach. Even though she wasn't a Hero anymore, it was still built into her system to respond this way.

Placing her hand on the door to push out her emotional "vectors", she searched for whoever was there.

And it was the last person she thought it would be.

Opening the door, she found a shivering Hawks in the hallway. He was holding his arm, wincing in pain as she gave her a trademark smile.

"Hey, Little One. Can't really go to a hospital for this, for reasons I really can't say. But can you help me out?"

She nodded silently, allowing him to stumble into her home. Closing the door quietly, she knelt down to his side, moving his arm to see the gash there.

"Mon dieu, mon amour..." she rambled on in her native tongue.

Hawks didn't really understand what the small woman was saying, but nodded none-the-less, "I just... I couldn't get away fast enough. It was raining and I couldn't..."

"Oh shush, lovely..." she murmured, standing up to run into her bathroom and find her medical kit.

She was back in a few seconds, making quick work of removing every article of clothing from his top half. Sayomi was expecting a cheeky comment from the man, about getting him undressed, but it never came.

"I'm exhausted, Little One," he managed to blurt out as she was cleaning and sanitizing the wound.

"I know, I know, Keigo..." the woman cooed, allowing her quirk a little freedom to wash over him.

Her voice was slowly becoming more and more inebriating, a feeling of utter intoxication washing over him.

He didn't know how long it had been since he had fallen to his knees on her floor, but by the time he came to, she was done stitching him up.

"What... What happened?" he managed to choke out, looking in utter shock at his arm, perfectly stitched.

Placing down her needle and thread, she fidgeted her hands on her lap.

"Do you remember that Hero from America? Miss Sera?"

He sat back on his knees now, looking at her with confusion, "The Emotion Hero? The one who disappeared after only a couple years on the circuit?"

She looked away in embarrassment again.

"That's you..."

Well, fuck.

"So that was... That was your quirk?"

"Mhm," she whispered, "I don't use it often, b-but sometimes I think b-between using it and not using it, using it is the lesser of two evils."

"Hey, Sayomi?" he said quietly after some time, lifting her head to look at him, "Thank you."

She leaned her head into his hand, "For what?"

"For answering my call in my time of need without hesitation."

"Of course, Keigo... I'd never leave you hanging out to dry."
