After six months :

It was winter season... Cold breezes brew across the town...it was gloomy and dark even in the day time.

Everything was back to normal but people couldn't forget the massacre happened at the choudhary haveli.
The haveli was left empty... Story revolved around that all the choudharys died in the attack that day.

On the other side Amma bi and sameen lived with shaista.

Sameen became silent after everything... She didn't know why she was still alive... With every heartbeat she felt like her agony intensified...she could never forget the time she spent with shamsher...
With tears in her eyes she ran her hand on the only token she had of shamsher.

Amma bi came into sameen's room and was sad to see her in this state... It was painful to see a little girl with so much pain in her eyes.

Sameen sat quietly on the table playing with food.
Raqeeb initiated the conversation asking aaj sheher mein mela laga hai...hum sab jainge...
Everyone agreed happily... Sameen spoke mujhe kuch theek nahi lag raha mai nai aaongi raqeeb bhai..
Raqeeb and shaista were worried for sameen... He considered her like his little sister... Her suffering didn't go unnoticed by anyone...zaid and uzma tried to cheer her up by saying koi baat nahi sammi didi aap wo cupboard mein rakhe saarey chocolates khaalena ...hum Amma ko nahi bolenge promise...She smiled gratefully at them and left the table without even a single morsel... Every sighed at her distant behavior.

Everyone got ready and left for mela...
Sameen laid on a swing in garden.
