(A/N: This is a bit of a longer chapter, so enjoy!)

Ding!
Severus glared at his textbook, debating if chucking the phone at the wall would be worth his friends bitching at him for breaking it.
"For fucks sake!" Monty exclaimed suddenly, slamming his book shut and glaring at Severus.
The whole group was currently studying in the campus library, reviewing for their exams on Friday.
"Would you just go on a bloody date with that arsehole!?" The man snapped, obviously fed up.
Severus scowled at his friend.
"Why should I? I don't even know him! Plus, I'm not interested in dating, so why would I put precious time I could use studying into a relationship that could end at any moment?" The young Fae demanded.
Paula snorted, glancing up the woman raised an eyebrow.
"Wow. Tell me you have relationship trauma without telling me you have relationship trauma." She said dryly.
Severus rolled his eyes and pursed his lips in annoyance.
Sighing, Vanessa put down her book and looked at the young man with a serious look in her eyes.
"Look Sev, maybe Monty is right. This man has been texting you everyday since the party and is pretty persistent on getting to know you. He's obviously not going to give up. You should go on a date with him, see how it goes and if you're not feeling it you could just tell him to fuck off to his face." She reasoned.
Severus' first instinct was to reject the idea, but paused, frowning.
What Vanessa proposed wasn't impossible.
All the young Fae had to do was give Cameron a chance. One date and then if he didn't have a good time he could just tell the other man to not contact him again.
And if it went well...
Severus didn't want a relationship and he will make that clear to Cameron before they do anything.
If the young Fae accepted that was.
Before Severus could fully make up his mind Monty had already grabbed his phone.
The young man lunged for it, but to his surprise Luke caught him before he could wrestle his phone back.
Chuckling, Luke sat Severus back down in his seat as Monty typed out text.
"Sorry Sev, but we're not going to let you talk yourself out of this. It's better to rip the bandaid off quick and like Van said, if you find out that Braxton is an arsehole, you could always tell us and we'll help you warn him off." The older man said, patting the young Fae's shoulder.
With a snap, Monty closed his phone and slid it back across the table to Severus.
"Braxton asked if you wanted to go to the fall fair on Saturday after exams. I told him to pick you up at seven by the fountain." He said, a smug smirk on his face.
Severus snatched his phone up, silencing it, as he didn't want to deal with Braxton's response and quickly shoved it in his pocket, ignoring his friends snickers.
Exams were a whirlwind of paper, stress, and ink stains, but by the time evening rolled around outside the time classrooms (three days in classrooms) everyone collapsed in their dorms in exhaustion.
Severus slept through Friday night and well into Saturday before Paula and Vanessa dragged him out of bed, forcing him into the shower.
They handed him an outfit and he begrudgingly admitted that it was to his tastes as he got dressed.
