Currently it was still quite warm on the school grounds, but pleasant, but as soon as Stella and Sierra arrived in the east wing of Alfea, the former meeting room for war preparation, it became abruptly, in the most unpleasant way, warm and quite stuffy, which was amplified by the smell, the most diverse perfumes, cigarettes and the drinks.

A party. Now? As if there had not been a single incident and the days, since their arrival at the school, had been ordinary days, as it had been in years before. No burned killing people or a group from specialists, was massacred without further ado. And not to forget, a burned who had followed a fairy into the world of humans. There was every reason to celebrate. How quickly some things are not forgotten after all, or were pushed aside.

"So," Sierra began, putting her arms around Riven's neck and moving slowly, to a terrible song, "Any ideas for Stella to finally stop getting off with random guys all the time? There has to be some way that the word no, finally gets through to her."

"Find a boyfriend and it will stop," but Sierra tilted her head because that was exactly what she didn't want to hear from the specialist, but Riven merely put her hands on her waist and pulled her closer, "What about that fire fairy? The 'devil' and you. I think that could get interesting."

"Yeah yeah," Sierra returned unenthusiastically, letting her gaze wander around the room, over the people, "It's so simple. Take the fairy who's on the dark side of the force and considered by everyone to be a Death Eater, and put her together with the guy who's of the problematic variety. Perfect. It's simple, isn't it? What's next? A bat as a pet?"

"How about a snake, to go with the words on your neck?" a voice could be heard from behind Sierra, which, as she turned around, belonged to a dark-haired boy who looked from her to Riven and signaled with a look to take off, "We haven't been properly introduced, can it be? I may."

"Since I'm not a killjoy, yes," replied Riven, who usually, always had something to contribute or some quip, but instead, the specialist merely tapped Sierra against the shoulder, "Have fun."

Wait, what? Well, thank you very much.

Stunned, Sierra began to shake her head after briefly glancing after Riven because it could just be so true, the specialist just left her standing and alone with Aspen. Maybe this was a party where the point was to meet new people, bond further and have fun, but anyone who had been to a party or event where you were left alone by the familiar faces knew how incredibly sucky it could get. Alone, even though you weren't alone in any way.

"Your friend is quite strange," Aspen began, looking in the direction Riven had disappeared, "For being one of the specialists, that was pretty quick. What did you do to him?"

"As far as I know, nothing, which may not mean anything. I'm not so sure about the sunshine, though," Sierra replied, gesturing outside over her shoulder, "Is it all right if we went outside? I can't stand the people, let alone music, let alone the nonexistent air in here, for any longer."
