Will you help us Wesley?

Chapter 7

It had been a year and a half since he was back and he was enjoying it.

It was nice to be home, with his mom and friends, being with Kathryn and being a member of the Enterprise as an officer this time.

He was with Kathryn right now at his quarters for her birthday and had something in his pocket as a birthday present.

"So, what do you want to do?" Kathryn asked after dinner.

"I want to ask you something." Wesley said and took what he had in his pocket and knelt down. "Kat, we've together for a year and I want to stay together for the rest of my life. So, Kathryn Snow will you marry me?"

Then he opened the box and a ring came.

She smiled and nodded.

"Yes." she said and he smiled then put the ring on her finger and gave her a kiss.

"Happy birthday." he said.

"I have another present I want." Kathryn said smiling.

"What is it?"

Then she pulled him on her bed and started to undress each other.

An hour later Kathryn was laying on Wesley asleep and he was asleep with her in his arms.

The next day after lunch they were at observation lounge smiling.

"What are you two smiling about?" Riker asked.

"We're getting married." Kathryn said and showed them her ring.

Everyone smiled and started clapping.

"Congratulations Lieutenant Crusher, ensign Snow." Picard said smiling and shook hands with Wesley.

"Thank you sir." Wesley said smiling.

Riker smiled.

Like Picard and Beverly he was proud of him. He had learned everything he taught him when he was fifteen and an acting ensign. He had grown up a lot over the years and had been a little brother to him for years. Even after he left he was still a member of the Enterprise family.

Now he was a young man that had made a good officer as he and Picard thought. He could feel his eyes watering a little thinking about what had happened from day one to the day he left for the Academy and when he started to come and help.

Deanna could tell and then looked at Picard and saw the same thing.

Everyone felt happy for him and was proud of him.

"Well, I have my bridge shift in ten minutes so I better get going." Wesley said smiling.

Then he gave Kathryn a kiss and headed to the bridge.

A month later Wesley was in his quarters thinking.

"Maybe it really is for me. I just needed a break."

Then he looked at his clock and saw it was eight twenty.

"Looks like I have to head to Will's quarters for the weekly poker game."

So he sat up and headed to Riker's quarters.

When he got there he sat down next to Geordi.

"Just in time Wes." Riker said smiling. "No Kat?"

"No. She's to tired." he said.

"Ahh."

"She hasn't felt that good lately either."

Everyone looked at him causing him to turn a little red.

"We did once last month on her birthday but took the pill."

They nodded and started the game.

After the game Wesley went to check on Kathryn. He won one of the game but Riker won the other two.

When he got there he hit the chime but got no answer so he opened the door.

"Kat?" he said and saw her asleep.

He went and gave her a kiss.

"Night Kat. See you tomorrow." he said and headed to his own quarters.

When he got there he laid down worried and wondering if the pill didn't work.

He shook his head.

"I'll keep an eye on her for a while and see what happens." he said and then fell asleep.

Two weeks later he was at the bridge having a little trouble focusing.

"Lieutenant Crusher." Riker said causing Wesley to jump.

"Yes sir?" he said.

"I just said you're free to have lunch."

"Oh, yes sir." he said and stood up.

"Wesley?" Deanna said.

"Yes councilor?"

"Can we go to my office for a minute?"

"Uh, sure."

Then she stood up and headed to her office.

When he got there he sat down.

"So, you wanted to see me?" Wesley said.

"Yes, I've been feeling worried and even a little nervousness in you the past two weeks. What's wrong?" Deanna asked.

"I was at the weekly poker game last Wednesday without Kat. She wasn't feeling good lately. When I told them that they looked at me pretty much asking me if we did it and I said once last month on her birthday. But she took her pill as usual."

"Well you know, not every medicine works. Maybe you should have her looked at by Dr. Crusher later after your done for the day."

"I was actually thinking the same thing. I was going to check on her on my lunch break as usual."

"Alright, why don't you go see her now and see how she feels."

He nodded and headed to her quarters.
