Novark and Valdnark were two planets born similarly milliards of years ago and somehow related to a supernova. But both of them weren't in good terms.
Valdnark was hell, a living nightmare, a place of torture and ruination. While Novark wasn't actually heaven, it was still better. Redemption and peace, with a few misfits yet violence was rare, though it was the ruler's domain.
Novark was a beautiful planet not many knew of. It was outside the cosmic nexus Yggdrasil, where the nine realms existed. Yet it was completely unknown from Midgardians. Actually only three of the realms have heard of it: Nidavellir, Alfheim and Asgard.
Novark's palace was extraordinary, it almost looked like it was made of water drops. Many believed it was a gift from Aegir to Adras, made out of his tears. It was actually created by Adras' grandfather ages ago. A home made out of love and in order to protect their four children, Arkyn, Fallon, Eder and Nolahni.
The king of Novark, Adras, was the God of War Strategy and Violence, yet he fell in love with the Goddess of Peace, Beauty and Fertility, Rheannon, and made her his queen. Their firstborn, Arkyn, was the God of Wisdom and Trust. The first daughter, Fallon, was the Goddess of Protection and Magic. Eder was the God of Fear and Chaos. And finally, Nolahni, Goddess of Love and Darkness.
Convinced by Rheannon, Adras tempted to make peace with Valdnarkians. Astros, their king, requested them to give him a wife as a sign of peace. He wanted Nolahni. Adras, furious, refused and the two planets stayed on bad terms. In order to protect their people, Fallon created a barrier surrounding their planet, to keep them from any harm Valdnarkians could cause. The barrier was guarded by dragons, who lived in peace amongst the Novarkians.
But Valdnarkians found a way to break that barrier.
Chaos and destruction surrounding them, and though Eder would have normally liked that, they all knew it meant the end of something. They managed to save most of the people, gathering and sending them through the wormhole, to other planets. The soldiers yelled "for Novark" and battled their enemies bravely. A few dragons fought the giants from Valdnark, though most of them flew away with their families, to protect their hatchlings. Was left the royal family, who were also battling but soon enough got forcefully gathered by Rheannon in a safe place.
She told them to part ways, this way nobody could ever find them. Not even themselves. They were all broken hearted at the idea. This wasn't just a goodbye. This was almost a "see you never." Their mother gave each of the children a crystal necklace, filled with magic. She told them to hold on it whenever they missed each other. She told them not to forget who they are. They didn't ask her to elaborate. There was a reason behind everything their mother said, and they'll know when the time will come.
"What of you and father?" They asked, and when she hadn't answered, they knew.
She told each of her children where to go, keeping it a secret from the others. Arkyn was able to take his daughter with him, and he left for Xandar. Fallon left for Nidavellir. Eder was told he'd be safe on Sakaar. And when Nolahni's time came, Rheannon told her to stop at Midgard and call for Heimdall, then leave to Asgard. She told her that it was the safest of places, and she would be protected there, she only had to reveal who her mother was.
She was still so young, so innocent and it broke Rheannon's heart to separate herself from her children.
She cried as she embraced her siblings and parents one last time. "We will try to leave this place safely, your father and I, and until we may see each other again, do not put yourself in danger."
Those were the last words her mother said to her before locking her up in a ship and sending it away.
