Chapter 12

A.N.: Hey guys! for the first time in history. I hereby bring you Lauren's first POV. I thought that the story is mostly in camila's POV so I decided to bring Lauren up so you would know what character she'll play so okie. Love you all :)

Chapter 12

Lauren's POV

It hasn't been a year but I missed her so bad. Every second that pass feels like a decade for me. I hate my life. What am I even doing here? They are not the one's who has to decide my destiny. Why are they so afraid to lose me? Is it because I'm different from them? All of them have eyes red as blood while I have hreen strong emerald ones. What makes me so special to them?

I' currently here walking around the woods to pass the time. And it was dark and no ordinary Vampire can see in this sight well, maybe except for me. I kick up the leaves carcastically thinking how wonderful my life is right now. There were random thoughts running through my mind right now till I was interupted by a cracking noise behind me.

"I know what you're thinking dear Severen" someone said. I looked back and found my brother Chris landing down from a tree branch. Ugh! I hate when people calls me that. It's so not me. I turned around again ignoring his presence. "You miss Vasilisa." he simply said then my eyes grew wide when I heard Camila's name. Like seriously? If Camila's here she would totally slap his face. What's up with him?

"---you miss her smile, her kisses, her-" he continued but I cut him off by a sarcastic laugh. "Haha woah woah..." I paused as I think of what to say "first of all no. I don't miss her. Second, would you please stop calling me Severen or else I'll give you a huge nose job in montana!" he chuckled and started following me on my trail.

We're walking and then there's me still trying to ignore him. He almost tripped and I laughed. When he got up... "Gheez! Admit it I know you do. Among all the people you know, I'm the one you trust the most.." he said and furrowed by eyebrows. "--after Camila" he corrected.

"K. Fine. I really miss her so bad"

"how bad? tell me in a scale of 1-100"

"1 billion. Oh come on! Scales can't measure how much I miss her Chris. I've been living with one leg far too long. And I don't know how long I can take it." I said and didn't notice the tears falling down on my cold cheeks.

"Shh. I don't know a lot about love but, as I see, it's really hard to live with only half a heart" he said and gave me a comforting hug but it's nothing compare to Camila's koala hugs. The way she would just hop on me everytime she'll see me by surprise. I released a few sobs till I finally calmed myself down.

"Don't worry Severen. I'm on your side" I punched him playfully for calling me in that name again.

"really?"

"Yes. Really." he confirmed. "Since when did I ever let you down?" he said then I laugh at his fat lie.

"Uhm. Let me see. There was this one time when I planned to play a prank on Taylor then you witnessed everything I did and you told her that before I ever started then all of a sudden the prank that was supposed to be on Taylor turned to me." I said like I was making a statement and Chris started laughing his lungs out.

"-and lastly. When I replaced your drink with a toad''s blood then you caught me already and you switched it with dad's then I ended up getting by the Strigoi outcast" I remembered how my body aches that time. To be honest it was the best yet worst prank I played.

"Haha! that was classic" he laughed. "Just don't tell dad okay? you know...about me remembering Camila. He knows that I forgot about her already and if he ever finds out I'm dead. Not just me but so do you." I said and pointed at him.

"Alright I won't I promise stop scaring me!" he said. "good." I replied. We were almost a few kilometers away when we suddenly heard 5 bell rings continiously so we stopped walking.

"5 bells?" Chris asked. "Ugh! What does dad wants this time" I said and then we started going back leaving the woods.

"Race yah" he challenged then I nodded. we ran in a very fast speed. we ran and ran 'till Chris was ahead of me. He smirked as a sign that he was winning but he suddenly bumped into a huge door and it let out a loud thud.

I laughed so hard in a low voice like I'm laughing through the air. "Looks like you won your price." I said mocking Chris. He shaked his head because of the sudden impact of the door. After a few moments of hapiness the door flew open revealing some of the wild and dangerous Strigoi troops. They made a way in the middle for me and Chris to walk. While we were walking at the center the Strigois starred at me hungrily and let loud random growls.

When we made it. Chris sat beside Dad's throne then I sat in between Mom and Taylor. Dad stood up and talked to everyone in the hall. We're not royal. We don't wear fancy clothes simple as that. You can say that I was only half listening or maybe I wasn't really listening at all.

"Where the hell have you two been?" my mom whispered. "We were just walking around the woods mom" I replied leaving me and Chris' conversation out of it. My mom nodded in response and it was about time that Dad finished his discussion.

All the people cheered. "ALL HAIL DAMON! ALL HAIL MEGAN! ALL HAIL SEVEREN! ALL HAIL VAN ALEN! (Chris) ALL HAIL TALIA! (Taylor)" they all continued saying that over and over again till dad told them to stop.
