Chapter 21

Camila's POV

"Emmett!" Edward shouted as I hit the ball with full strength. The ball flew in a fast speed and I saw it reached the outskirts of the woods followed by Emmett and Edward who's running after the ball, they're like 5x faster than lightning. "Nice hit" Rosalie complemented "Thanks" I replied. "Looks like we've got ourselves a new Vampire Rookie over here" says Carlisle "who know you might be qualified for the Vampire Olympics" he added. "Really? Does that exist?" I questioned.

"Ofcourse not"Carlisle laughed that made others do the same. This has been a great experience so far. The Cullens have been really nice, though they look at themselves as monsters they never did fail to blend in into the society. After a couple of moments, Emmett caught the ball and threw it back. I then immediately made it to homerun. We all laughed in unison and it literally became music to my ears. The clapped for my successful game and started to spread within the field.

"Mind if I try?" The strange human said to break the ice. She was quiet ever since she came here. Maybe because this is all new to her and like what I've been through, at first it was hard to embrace and accept a new environment esp. when you think that its impossible for it to exist "Sure" I said as I held her the metallic bat. When she finally got it between her hands the bat fell on the ground that made her bow in a small angle.

"I didn't imagine it would be this heavy" she said as she chuckled at the end of her sentence. I miss that kind of feeling, too bad I won't be able to feel those little things again. I'm not as fragile as I used to be before. When she got to set herself up, she marked her position and held the bat in a wrong way.

"Here let me help you" I offered as I stood behind her and wrapped myself around her, guiding her how to swing and hit the ball perfectly. The wind suddenly blew across us that made me smell her blood's scent. The kind of blood that'll give me an intense satisfaction. Then all of a sudden, I was slowly starting to pace my head to her neck without even knowing what I was doing. All I wanted from that moment was to get a taste of her blood. She started to feel uncomfortable and tried to get away from my embrace but it didn't work. Before I could even bit her neck the world began to stop. Edward witnessed what I was about to do and quickly pushed me forcefully away against a tree at the entrance of the woods.

He looks out of control and mad at the same time. He's expression was blank like a paper without a stain. I know that it has something to do with me almost killing his girl but unluckily I was to blind to see it.

"If you ever touch her again I will kill you!" he said as he stared at me full of emotions with his voice shaking from every word that comes out from his mouth. I at the other hand can't stop craving badly. I saw her frightened as hell, hiding behind Rosalie and Esme.

"I-I want her blood! LET ME GO!" I shouted and tried to move away but I was once again pushed back and now harder. "DON'T!" he shouted back. The more I become thirsty the more I crave. My eye bags started to darken and my body becomes weaker than it was a few seconds ago.

"Edward stop" Carlisle instructed as he approached both of us. Coming back to my own self. I finally realized what I've almost done. "Camila thirst for blood. It wasn't her intention to" Carlisle explained. "Well, she should have warned us" Edward answered back.As I watch both of them argue, I saw Dinah at the corner of my eyes, quiet like she doesn't even care if the earth falls out of orbits or if a dead body appears and strangles her to death. I'm so lost like I'm stuck in a room with no escape.

Out of the blue, I broke the suffocating atmosphere covering me as I felt a connection with the ground and raised my hand up with strength. The ground shaked and a long body of rocks started to rise up the threw both Edward and Carlisle away. Everyone was beyond shocked about what I just did. The rocks stopped at its peak like 7 people put up all together like building blocks. I hid behind the solid rock, afraid of what the others are currently thinking right now. I stole a quick glance behind the wall and saw everyone still glued to their places. Without a word, I ran into the woods ans disappeared like thin air.   

"She's running away" Alice said as she tried to chase me until Carlisle blocked her way. "No let her go. I think she needs some time alone" 

"But what if the Strigoi's catch her?" says Rosalie. "Well I guess someone has to go watch her" Carlisle added. I know the Cullens are all courageous but no one ever bothered to step forward at this point of time. Maybe because they are afraid of the strange behavior that I just did. Afraid that when I get caught they'll all die piece by piece.

"I'll go after her" says Dinah with her head up. She and Carlisle both exchanged looks in a matter of seconds then made a decision. "She trusts me and I'm her protector. If she dies out there I think there's no other thing worth living for" with Dinah's words they were all blown away. There's no other thing they can do tho. They all know that Dinah's the one who's close to me even when the sky and earth fell apart nothing can prevent us. "take care Dinah" was Carlisle's last words before she left the field as a werewolf.

I'm so done with everything. I can't stop myself from doing something I'll regret for the rest of my life cause all it does is just cause harm even though I don't have the intention to. Yes, I know I'm a Vampire but I know Vampires have self-control. What makes me different? other than knowing I don't belong in their coven? Over time, I can't still figure out why are we running away from those strange men like a coward.

How about that beautiful girl I've been dreaming lately, leaving me in the state of euphoria. Everytime I think of it my heart starts racing and my palms started sweating. It feel like I'm in her presence that makes me feel even more crazy. I think I'm out of my mind like a volcano about to blow off any second from now. But what can I do? nothing. Just run, runaway until my last breath.

On the positive side, I'm slowly getting there. Slowly getting to be able to get over this madness. I just need to be patient, which is not really me tbh. I'm like a broken bone in progress waiting to be whole again.

I continued running across the woods with no idea where I'm heading. I ran for a few more distance until I heard a howl. It sounds close to Dinah's but I have a feeling that it is not her. Its howl is a bit deeper. Then a few more howls drop by all sounding differently, coming from different individuals. Until I realized, I was already trespassing a territory that I don't know to whom it belong. Shit . was all I can say right now. I'm surrounded. please tell me this is not yet the end.

A.N.: Wooah! It's been like almost 3 months and half since the last time I've updated this story XD What can I say? I have a busy life and within those months. I fell in love. I have no words. She's really an incredible person. Hope ya'll will still continue readin' this one. Love ya'll :*
