Chapter 14

Camila's POV

I'm sitting here on top of a old log. Reading the 1st book about Dhampirs. So far there are already a lot of facts that answers my questions. There were a lot of explanation in this book, but direct to the point this is what the 1st book stated:

Dhampirs are half-Moroi and half-human. They are trained to be Guardians of the Moroi against the Strigoi. Birth - Dhampirs were originally born through the union of a Moroi and a human in the years before the Dark Ages. Through this union created a half-vampire and half-human. 

Physical Activities - Unlike the Moroi, Dhampirs don't have Element abilities (eg. fire, water etc). They are born with quicker reflexes, increased strength, heightened agility, greater flexibility and great endurance. With these superhuman physical strengths they are able to train to match that of Strigoi strength and agility. Dhampirs such as Rosemarie Hathaway are born with each of these abilities and were trained throughout their years at St. Vladimir's Academy to match or even takedown a Strigoi in combat. 

Dhampirs also heal quicker than a human but slower than a Moroi. As Rose had bite marks from Lissa and Adrian, but they healed a few hours after being bitten. 

Wait. Who's Rose and Lissa? It took me a lot of time to process eveything till it hit me. So does this mean that the guys that were chasing us were Dhampirs? Ugh! Why does eveything have to be so complicated. When I reached the end of the 1st book. I decided to return it to its shelf, but I have to check if the coast is clear. I read the book for two days straight and I can feel that someone's watching me I hope that it was only Alice.

It was evening and I walked my way inside the house as quiet as I can. And looked from my left to right if there is anyone home. The room was so quiet so I immediately walked to the shelf. I returned the book and glide my fingers through the books till caught me by surprise.

"Curious much Cabello?" I gasped in shock and immediately removed my fingers from the books and looked towards the person. It was Edward. "Shit Edward you're scared the crap out of me!" I said. He went to the couch and laid his arms on top and looked at me intently. "Are you freaking invading my mind again?"

He chuckled and said, "Yes but no." "EDWARD ANTHONY MASEN CULLEN!" I shouted. He's so annoying. He has no right to invade anybody's mind. I don't even know that those kinds of gifts exist. "Woah. How'd you know my full name?" he questioned.

"Uhhh, Alice told me" I said then he laughed. "What's so funny?" I asked in an awkward voice. "Nothing. Carlisle ask for you."

"What? Why?"

"We're going to hunt. Aren't you hungry?"

"Uhm. yeh-yes. O-okay uhm I'll be there in a sec." I said and he finally made his way downstairs. When he was nowhere insight I looked back at the books and decided to continue reading it later.

"Camila! come over here" Dinah yelled, waving her arms in the air. When I got to her place she asked where I've been and I said I was just watching a movie. She nodded in response and then Carlisle gathered us around in the cold woods but it weather doesn't bother me.

"Okay so, tonight we're not gonna drink animal's blood. Tonight we regain our strength. Each of us will be divided into different ways. Emmett and Rosalie will hunt near the bar" he said as he pointed to Rosalie and Emmett and they made their way.

"--Alice and Jasper to the abandoned building near tyhe Patio"

"---Camila and Edward to the theater then me and Esme will go to the hospital." Ugh! great I'm stuck with Edward again. I gotta keep my mind focused. "--and Dinah go with Camila" Yes! Carlisle and Esme vanished like thin air and we made our way to the theater.

When we made it to the theater I started wondering how can we enter. "I have tickets" Edward said. "Ugh! Edward stop reading my mind!" I said annoyed by he's action. I clenched my fist, wanting to give this guy a Cuban beat down but Dinah gave me look. He handed the tickets to the manager and we made it inside.

"Okay so how are we gonna hunt here, without getting caught?" I asked.

"We'll watch the movie" Edward simply replied.

"That's it?" I questioned.

"How are you gonna learn if I'm gonna tell you everything you need to do?" I stated. "Just follow your senses. Trust me, it will lead you to satisfaction" he said and left me and Dinah and took a seat somewhere. 

Dinah took a seat at the 2nd column of the seats in the middle of the theater. I was gonna seat beside her but she cut me off "Na-ah you're not gonna seat beside me Pizza head" she said covering the seat on her right. I pouted. "That's not going to work. Now go find your own seat and be a Vampire" 

I gave up and tried to find a seat in the group of people. I sat beside a good old man. When I met his gaze at first he was shock but after a few moments after I took a seat beside him he was relieved. 

Every people in the theater are looking straight into the screen. We were watching Mocking Jay Part 1. I really love this movie but I can't focus because my throat starts to get dry. I caressed my neck and looked at the batch where Edward is sitting but I didn't saw any sign of him even in the whole room. Ugh! I'm thirsty. My heart is beating louder like its gonna pop out of my chest. I'm shaking. Fuck! Keep it cool Camila you can't just pick a random person to eat. This is fucking hard.

I clenched my fists and I was breathing heavily. The old man noticed my actions. "Are you okay young lady?" he asked but I refused to reply. There was one woman who were walking upstairs from the lower box to the Exit. What am I gonna do?! 

One man also walked up following the other woman. My shaking and trembling stopped, cause it was replaced by fury and hunger. I stood up and followed the two people who just went out of the room. The woman was ahead follwed by the average man.

I hid behind a pillar and studied their actions. it looks like this man is my target. The man pinned the woman on the wall and started attacking its neck. His other hand were traveling inside his pockets and pulled out a knife.

The guys stopped attacking the woman and was about to sab the knife unto the woman but I immediately ran to their place in a fast speed and took the knife and stabbed it unto the man instead.

The woman screamed and started running away. I looked down on the man who was shaking with his eyes wide open. "As for you.." I knelt on the floor and held the man'[s neck. "Bon appetit" I said and bit his neck and started sucking it blood. Never knew someone who looks so old and disgusting has a smooth and delightful blood. 

I stood up and finally gained enough strength for the week. I took a last glance at the helpless man and left. When I was walking in the street I paused for a while when I remember what I thought before.

Ewww! I didn't said that Blood taste good did I?
