DISCLAIMER: I do not in anyway ship these two but their interactions in the show just makes me so soft and I thought, omg why not make it angst? Yeah, I'm weird like that. Do not get me wrong, I'm IN LOVE with MC Changmin and want to have his children so yeah, not shipping, just soft.

The first time it happens, it's a little unexpected.

Kingdom; Legendary War had just begun and everyone was at the edges of their seats, seeing how Road to Kingdom was, they all wanted to make a great first impression to the audience.

Though all the new added groups were well known, they still needed a bigger fanbase if they wanted to win.

And that brings us here, to the backstage where Stray Kids are getting ready to perform their introduction stage.

Although they've practiced for far more times than their limbs can carry, there's still a hole that needs to be filled.

There's this part that wholly depends on Felix's balance and timing but all through rehearsals and practices he has failed to fall on time, either bumping into someone or plain falling without balance.

This is the reason that his face is full of worry and his insides churn in a horrid manner.

He's seated in his chair, letting out exasperated sighs and leaning his face in his palms.

"Ten minutes!"

Knowing that he has to go up there no matter what, and try not to fuck it up like he did during the rehearsal, he shakes his head as though it would send the thoughts flying out of his head.

It doesn't necessarily does that but a hand on his shoulder sure as hell does.

He turns around so quickly to see who it is and he's pleasantly surprised.

It's Changmin, smiling cutely down at him.

He gets up so fast, bowing a little and mustering up the smallest and most honest looking smile he could, which wasn't much anyways and waited.

"Ah it's okay, you can just stand," the older man says and Felix stands up, shyly avoiding meeting eyes.

"What brings you here sunbaenim?" He asks, trying to play it cool.

"Oh right, you looked so dejected earlier so I thought I should see if you were okay. Are you?" Changmin asks, bending a little to look at Felix who turns away at the act.

"I'm fine sunbae, just a little nervous but that's normal," he says, not really telling the full truth.

It goes silent between them and he thinks his senior is about to just nod and leave when he feels a hand clutch his arms and in a whiff, he's being dragged down the hallway and through a door that read 'MC'.

"Hyu- sunbaenim? What are you doing? I-I have to go perform..in like six minutes," Felix's words were jumbled but yet he remains unmoving.

Glancing around the room, he realizes it's just them within there and no matter how much he trusts the other man, he's beginning to get a little fidgety.

People COULD change in the blink of an eye.

He stares at the man in front of him who's looking for something in the pockets of a big warm and cozy blanket looking jacket.

That doesn't make him any less fidgety because what if he was searching for a knife?

What if it was a drugged handkerchief?
