Neither of us had said a word for at least an hour, her head was rising and falling with my breathing and her fingers interlocked with my right hand and mine with her's. Her other hand was rested on my chest, her fingers delicately running down my chest every few minutes. I couldn't believe she had kissed me and I'd asked her why she did it...and she answered with confessing that she was in love with me....funny. Of all the people, she chose me, I loved her too of course and so I admitted the same thing. She kissed me a second time out of pure happiness and then we both had a party of hiding from each other in our hoods for about ten flustered minutes. Then for the next hour after that we just laid there, her head on my chest and my right hand holding her left one tight, occasionally giving it a small squeeze which would shortly after be returned. I just stared at the ceiling, my other arm still wrapped around her lower back and rubbing her back. It seemed as if neither of us could really believe we were in love, but we were anyways. Kills was the purest thing in my life so you can't blame me for loving her like I do. I don't think I'm the best option for her, but it's not really my decision to make anymore. I sighed softly.
"You need to sleep..." she mumbled softly.
"So do you" I replied quietly.
"....then I'll fall asleep right here, right now. But only if you do shortly after...o-ok?" She said, looking up at me.
I gave her a small nod and watched her smile a little and then proceed to lay her head back on my chest. I hummed softly to help her sleep and felt her body relax against mine only a few minutes later. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep right after that.
