I watched the Star Sanses leave through a portal, leaving us in the Omega Timeline. I heard a rumor that Core Frisk had offered to take Cross there after Xtale had been mysteriously demolished, but he turned down the offer. I didn't miss Undertale anyways, I was glad I didn't have to go back to some timeline that just continued to replay the same stupid thing all over again. She was holding my hand and leaning close to my chest as I quietly watched them go. Ink gave a reassuring smile and left us there. I looked around at all of the stupid discarded Underversal people around us, laughing together and talking. My instincts took over and immediately I had an army of knives surrounding a group of old Underswap extras. They all just kind of froze, not afraid, but still laughing and joking around with one another. I felt a hand grab my wrist and flinched, looking down and met Killer's eyes. I could feel the little bit of fear she felt from how abruptly I had looked to her. She slid her hand into mine and gave a look of pleading with me. I sighed, frustrated and my left eye's light flickered to darkness again. She sighed softly, relieved that the person she "loved" didn't kill a bunch of people.
".....I'm tired..." I mumbled softly.
"Do you want to go find a hotel or something? I heard most things in the Omega Timeline are free so that people from Genocide timelines can feel alright without stress" She explained softly.
"Sure.." I shrugged.
I heard her sigh again but it was shaky and....sound like she was...crying? I looked down and my eyes widened. She was wiping a few tears running down her face with her sleeve.
"Whoa whoa...h-hey what's wrong?" I said, lifting her face to look at me, worried, but also somewhat embarrassed from my sudden burst of emotions.
"I-I....just want you to be ok..." She mumbled softly, another tear running down her cheek.
"I-I am ok! S-see?" I stuttered nervously.
"Y-you're the worst liar ever Killer..." she smiled sadly, which made my chest feel like someone was squeezing all the life out of it.
"I-I...." I was confused, I wasn't wounded...was I?
I quickly checked my HP and found no signs of any damage.
"I mean...you..not your body..." she reached up, cradling my cheeks gently. "You."
"B-but..." I was about to say something about not caring whether I was okay or not, but she silenced me by pressing her finger against my teeth, pulling my face just a little bit further forward and kissing me.
I pulled her closer, quietly returning the kiss. She wrapped her arms around me and hugged tighter.
Then we....started trying to figure out the Omega Timeline and how to....start a life.
