Lucas left a tip for the waiter as the three of them left the restaurant, and narrowly avoided running a red light on the drive home.

They race up the stairs in Ryan's house, and he finds two of his older computers for his friends to use. They log onto Minecraft quicker than they ever had, and Elan breathes a sigh of relief upon realising his worlds had connected. He shares the link so Ryan can connect, before he logs in, Lucas and Ryan following suit.

Nothing signifies that the three appear, but when they do, the first thing they notice is the bright yellow sky.

"Why's the sky yellow?" Ryan questions, however Lucas and Sabre's attention had quickly turned towards the house in front of them.

"Do you remember this house, Sabre?" Lucas asks, remembering the time that the two had been in this dimension.

"Nope," Sabre answers.

"Hello? The sky?" Ryan tries to ask again, however at that point the door of the house is opened, and Nightmare Steve appears.

"Sabre! You got the email thingy!" He exclaims, before noticing the other two. "Lucas, Ryan, welcome."

"Yeah, I have no idea how you managed to pull that one off," Lucas chuckles, and at that point, Nightmare notices the blood still tainting Sabre's onesie, from when they had tricked Alex. Sabre glances down at it, before covering his face with his hands.

"Sabre, it's not... that noticeable." Nightmare tries to persuade, however Sabre shakes his head.

"It's red on white, Nightmare," he replies grimly.

"Guys. Please. The sky. Is yellow." Ryan tries yet again, gaining a look from Nightmare.

"Ryan, look at me," he instructs, and Ryan obeys. "Now look at the sky," Ryan obeys. "Now look at me."

For roughly three seconds Ryan only stares at Nightmare, before it clicks.

"Nightmare Dimension!" He exclaims, as the Steve laughs.

"There you go!"

At that, a brightly coloured body comes bounding past Nightmare, throwing himself at both Sabre and Lucas, of who laugh. As he places his feet back on the ground, he quickly turns to also greet Ryan in a similar way. Only when he turns back to Sabre does he notice the stain, double-taking.

"Rainbow, come here for a second," Nightmare instructs, before lowering his voice to a whisper when the Steve got close. "In the kitchen, there should be a bottle of a pale grey liquid, possibly bubbling. Can you please get that for me, and a cloth?"

Rainbow nods and bolts back into the house, returning a short minute later with the things he was requested for.

"Wonderful. Now, are you able to bring the boys inside? Introduce the Steves to Ryan and reacquaintance them with Lucas?"

"Of course!" Rainbow agrees, and the three head inside.

"Sabre? Follow me, please." Nightmare leads Sabre a bit away from the house, to a small lake at the bottom of a slight hill. Sabre gives the Steve a weird look as he, without hesitance, steps into the water.

"What're you doing?" Sabre questions. "Is this a ritual? A sacrifice?"

"A bath," Nightmare answers, and Sabre stops. "Come on. You're not going to allow yourself to go inside while you have that stain, you know that. I'm merely helping you wash it off."

Unable to find the words he wanted to tell Nightmare no, Sabre hesitantly follows the Steve's lead, sitting himself in the shallow part of the lake. Nightmare wets the cloth, before pouring the liquid in the bottle onto it. Sabre recognises the liquid as soap, and wonders how the Steve managed to create it within the limits of a Minecraft world.

Nightmare moves close to Sabre's side, before beginning to rub the cloth against where the blood stain is. Sabre barely moves, ashamed of the state he's in.

"This is ridiculous," he mumbles, gaining a look from Nightmare. "I'm so pathetic."

"What makes you say that?" Nightmare asks, sitting back and allowing the soap he had applied to seep into the fabric of Sabre's onesie.

"My mother used to do this," Sabre answers. "Bathe me. And also, I can't even eat a proper meal without being sick any more."

"That doesn't sound pathetic," Nightmare tells, gently grabbing Sabre's shoulder in one hand and scrubbing with the other. "You've lived through traumatic events, it's understandable that you're like that. It may take you a while to get over it. And, as for the bathing... are you saying you feel like I'm your mother?"

"No! I'm saying I feel like a child!" Sabre suddenly snaps, pushing away Nightmare's hand. He reaches up and tears the blindfold from his face, revealing his slightly reddened eyes. "This whole situation is making me feel like such a damn child!"

Nightmare allows Sabre to punch the water in front of him, before watching as he lets out angry tears. The Steve sits back as Sabre glares at the water, not understanding but knowing the emotions running through his head. A few moments pass before he's able to calm himself, enough for Nightmare to again console him.

"Elan?" Sabre glances across at the Steve, who's tempted to give a smile but resorts instead to a stern yet compassionate gaze. "Listen to me, okay? This is coming from someone who has seen so many different sides of you.

"You are strong. You've fought against so much, fought for so much. Remember those times I tore Rainbow away from you? That first time I brought you here? You fought and you pushed through it all. This? This is no different. Sure, lives ended recently because of you. But need I remind you of why they call me Nightmare?

"Look, Sabre. I'm going to be blunt about this. Shit happens. Okay? But every single Steve that was in that Town of yours knows that you are their friend. Every single person in that house behind us knows that you were anything but yourself recently. But we've a common enemy, and that enemy is Alex, not you. And if you wish to retain the title of Saviour of the Steves, you've gotta push past the events you had no control over. Okay?"

Sabre stares at Nightmare, knowing that every word he uttered was true. He had to push past it if he were to move on. And the Steves need him. They need him more than ever.

Without a word, Sabre grabs his blindfold and readjusts it over his eyes, before rinsing off the suds from his onesie and stepping out of the pond.

"We've got an Alex to deal with." He states, helping Nightmare up as well.
