Like This - Haikyuu!! Band AU

Hola people!

I'd like to formally welcome you to this story.

Like This, as I'm sure you already know, is a band AU of Haikyuu!!. This is a story that I've put many hours into. I've done the art, written the story, and brought the characters to life in this musical fanfic.

A few warnings before hand!!

This story contains some triggering content, such as depression, mental abuse, drugs, eating disorders, and other topics. I have experience with many of the things listed above, so most of what I write will be based off my personal experience.

This story also contains some sexual content!

If any of these things trigger you or make you uncomfortable, or if you're 12 or below, I ask you to leave in the kindest way possible. I wrote this so people could enjoy it, and I wouldn't want to set people off with my depictions of certain illnesses.

Now, onto the story.

Many of he events will be based off events in the actual series. For example, the practice game with Aoba Johsai will still be in the story so to say, but it will be turned into a joint writing meet-up.

An explanation:
A joint writing meet-up is basically where two or more music clubs meet to write new music. They also give each other pointers and it's a way for he clubs to find people with the same interests as them. I have no idea if these actually exist so as far as I know, I made these up.

Another similarity is the training camp. This is my personal favorite and will always be one of my favorite things to write.

The trainig camp will be turnrd into - you guessed it - a music camp. Instead of competing in practice games, club members spend a week bonding and practicing. They compete against other bands in small competitions throughout said week. An entire week filled with music.

A question you might be asking is how they can 'write' a song. Wouldn't they just pretend to have written a sing from an artist. For example, take "Lemon Boy" by Cavetown and pretend to have written it.

Fun fact about me, I write my own music!

All original songs in this book are actually original and written by me! I assigned different songs I've written to bands based on the vibe they give off. Like This will get the more alt rock-y songs, while Aoba Johsai Music will get the pop songs. Nekoma will get the soft indie songs and Inarizaki has all those feel-good say what you want songs.

Hmmm...I think that'll be everthting I need to say.

Oh yeah!

So, I changed the appearance of the characters a bit in order to match that band vibe. Some characters will look almost exactly the same, like Hinata, and some will be changed almost completely, like Tsukki.

In order to help you visualize, I drew each character in the style they're depicted in. I'll be adding a picture chapter after each group of chapters(a group consists of a Yamaguchi, Hinata, Tsukki, Kageyama, and Yachi chapter). I'll theme each one, the first being individual pics of the main characters, then of each band after that, leading to ship posts and other pics.
