"LET'S SWIM AGAIN, Y/N!" DENKI declared.
She turned to him with a 'really?' expression on her face. "We're literally hanging up our wet swimsuits right now, and you want to just ... okay then."
He smirked at her as he pulled the swimsuits in question of the railings of the balcony. "Told you we'd get you more adventurous, didn't I?"
Y/N snorted. "Don't know if this is quite adventurous but sure, I guess."
A short ten minutes, and they were again swimming in the warm water towards the Kaminaris' yacht, enjoying the gentle push and pull of the river that begged them to stay in its watery embrace.
"Getting sick of the boat yet?" Denki teased as he pulled her onto the now-familiar roof, the noon sun high in the sky above them.
"Never," she admitted, rolling onto her back with a hand covering her eyes from the sun's glare, and gladly soaking up its warmth. "I really should've come here more often. "
"I wish you did," he said, startling honesty to his voice. "We're basically neighbours, really, but ... I don't know you at all."
The words chilled Y/N to the bone, though she recognised their truth and her part in that. In fact, less than 24 hours before, she had bemoaned having to spend time with her 'neighbours', and had looked to the weekend with apathy and disinterest. Denki had been, in her opinion, just another of the boys her age her parents had begged her to spend time with in the hope that she would actually socialise with people other than her comfort friends Mina and Tsuyu.
