~Time Skip Two Weeks~

I had to be the one to tell his mom, his sister, and the team. Each time I couldn't hold in my tears.

His mom wasn't surprised for some reason and his sister didn't know what was going on.
The team was very shocked, a couple cried, but everyone was sad. Even Kageyama. They weren't surprised when I quit the team, but everyone tried encouraging me to stay.
I didn't end up staying.

His funeral was hard.
The whole team came, my brother and mom came with me.
I ended up doing a speech and it really hurt.
The funeral was good closure, but I miss him more and more each day.

I took a couple days off of school after the funeral, but I had to go back to school on demand from my mom.
Other than school I stayed in my room, except for eating, going to the washroom, showering and getting ready for bed.

Yamaguchi came over often and told me how practice was going and to just comfort me.

It would probably be a lot harder without him here and I'm extremely grateful for him.

~Time Skip One Year~

I'm in my second year of high school now and I've rejoined the Volleyball team. It's a bit weird without the Third years and sometimes I get a bit sad when thinking about Shoyo.
I haven't completely moved on, but I don't isolate myself in my room anymore.

Yamaguchi and Kageyama are still together and I'm happy for them.

One of the new frist years has a crush on me and when he confronted me about it, I kindly rejected him. He was clearly upset, but respected my decision and we've been good friends ever since.
