Silas leaned back in his chair and studied Kota. Kota had paused mid-sentence, his gaze fixed on a screen behind him. Silas followed Kota’s gaze to see him transfixed by the safe room video feed. Sang was standing shyly in the middle of the room with Gabriel beside her holding up earrings to her face.
Silas’s glanced back at Kota, he was still avidly watching the screen.
He turned in his chair and after an assessing glance over the other screens, settled in and watched the vision that was Sang. Now this livened up the control room shift.
The chair skidded across the room as Silas jumped to his feet. Kota leaned forward too, focusing more intently on the screen as Victor and Gabriel rushed to the bathroom door Sang had practically danced through moments before and busted it open, disappearing inside.
Kota cleared his throat, his hand going up to straighten his tie. ‘Anyway, as I was saying...’
