Chapter 6: The Entrance Exams

Izuku continued training with OFA while Izumi and Yoshito continued training as well. And just like that, the day of the entrance exams was finally here. Izuku hadn't changed as far as muscles, but his quirk had improved. As of now he could control up to 10% of his power without injury. Not to mention that super move he had.

Good thing he was working out since he was 10 years old, otherwise he would have to spend the 10 months working on his muscles, and he would have a hard time controlling the quirk. As he walked to the entrance, he saw Izumi and Yoshito waving at him.

"Hey dude come on!" Yoshito said, "The exam is about to begin!"

Izuku started running up to his friends. Suddenly he tripped on a rock. He closed his eyes and awaited the impact, but it never came. He opened his eyes and saw himself floating. He turned to see a round faced girl with permanent blush marks on her face.

"Are you okay?" Said a female voice.

The girl then plopped Izuku back on his feet.

"Sorry I should've asked to use my quirk on you first, but it would be bad luck to fall on your first day," she said, "This test has me nervous, but I'm sure I'll do my best."

"Right," Izuku said.

"Well, I'll see you in there," she said running in.

Izuku was blushing as it was his first time ever talking to a girl other than his sister. Izuku turned over to see Izumi and Yoshito grinning at him.

"Looks like someone's got a new hot pocket," Izumi teased.

"Shut up," Izuku said as he walked inside.

They all entered the building and took the written portion. LAter on all the contestants were in the auditorium to listen to the second portion of the exam. It was given by none other than Present Mic. Izuku was muttering about how cool he was while Izumi tried to stop him.

Present Mic was talking about how there are dozens of robots scattered throughout various cities. Students would earn points by taking down robots with their quirks. However he was interrupted when a blue haired boy jumped up.

"Sir can I ask a question!" he said, in our pamphlet you gave us it shows four robots while the board has only three! And you, one with the green unruly hair!"

"Wait me?" Izuku asked.

"Yes you, you've been muttering non stop and distracting all of the other contestants! If you can't take this exam seriously then leave the premises!"

Izumi stood up and shouted back, "Mind your own business Four eyes, you're the one causing a distraction. If you would let Present Mic explain that part, then maybe you would hear about it!"

"Um.... right, the 4th robot is basically a thwomp which is worth 0 points," Present Mic explained.

Later on, Izuku was dropped off in a city. He was looking at his book of techniques that he had written down as far as what he could do with OFA. He began to mutter once again. As he continued to mutter, he noticed the girl he met earlier.

"Hmm, maybe I should thank her for what she did," Izuku said.

He was about to walk over to her and wish her luck, however he was stopped by the blue haired man.

"And who exactly are you, friend?"

It was the blue haired boy from earlier.

"Can't you see she's trying to keep her focus? Stop acting like such a distraction and leave her be, why can't you just..."
