Chapter 20: Internships Start!
Everyone was at the dorms trying to pick some ideas for hero names.
"Who are you going with?" Izuku asked Yoshito.
"I got an offer from Gran Torino," Yoshito said, "he said he would work with me on my parkour."
"Well that will help with your quirk!" Izuku said, "I'm not sure who I'm going with just yet."
"Hey, where did Izumi go?"
Izumi was on her way to the development studio. She was about to visit a specific blonde girl. Izumi made it to the studio. She was about to knock but the door opened.
"Oh hey Midoriya," Power Loader said.
"Where's mel?" Izumi asked.
BOOM!!!
"GodDAMMIT HATSUME! YOU CAN'T PUT GAS INTO AN ELECTRIC GAUNTLET!!!" Melissa said.
"That answer your question?" Power loader said.
"Yes it does," Izumi answered, "What even.... You know what I don't wanna know."
She walked into the studio. Izumi saw Melissa struggling with something. She went to help her
"Let me help with that" she said helping her set some stuff down.
"Oh thank you," Melissa said, "So what brings you by?"
"Nothing much," Izumi said, "We're all starting hero internships soon and I just gotta find out who I wanna intern under."
"Oh nice, who are you going with?" Melissa asked.
"Well, I was picked by this person called Nighteye, but I don't think I'm gonna intern under him," Izumi said.
She noticed something on the desk. It looked like some kind of red glove.
"What do you got there?" she asked.
"A smoothie," Melissa said.
"Um no... I mean the glove," Izumi corrected.
"Oh that," Melissa said, "Its a support item I'm planning for your brother."
"Really?" Izumi asked.
"Yea, its not done yet, I've just discovered how his quirk works. He's been limiting himself on purpose, like in the sports festival. From what I can gather, Izuku can't use te full power of his quirk yet."
"I don't know what's making you so smart," Izumi said, "That big brain, or the way you rock the school uniform."
Melissa giggled at hat.
"So how did my chain work for you?" Melissa asked.
"Really well," Izumi said, "A great substitute in case my quirk is out of juice. You really saved my bacon with this."
Melissa smiled and said, "Thank you."
Izumi knew she had to tell her.
"Mel, there's something I've been meaning to tell you."
"What is it?" Melissa asked.
Izumi looked at her crush and was sweating a lot
"Well.... I..... I'm bisexual," she said, "I like girls. I have for as long as I can remember. Lately there's been this one girl who's caught my eye."
"Who?" Melissa asked.
"I'm looking at her right now," Izumi stated, "I.... I like you Melissa. You're smart, talented and pretty. On top of that you work hard and put others before yourself."
