Chapter 30 Take Him Away

Translator: Storm in a Teacup

Ke Ruan was in great pain, but he was afraid of getting other people's attention. He glanced at his right hand and found a thick nail had nearly gone through his hand if it hadn't been broken into half.

Even so, the remaining half was right there deep in his palm.

He then realized that it was made of iron. His eyes widened in surprise.

What if I got tetanus because of this?

Si Yuhan didn't expect this either. He raised his head and looked into Ke Ruan's eyes.

Ke Ruan didn't have time to deal with this. It had to wait until he got back to the inn. He could only pray that he wouldn't get infected. He pulled the nail right out. And then there was blood, lots of blood.

Ke Ruan tried to wipe them up using his clothes. There was nothing to worry about, he thought. It would coagulate eventually. He bent over towards Si Yuhan again.

He must have been freaked out. Poor child.

Ke Ruan tried to lift him up like what he did three minutes ago, but... Of course Si Yuhan would never agree to that.

He dodged his hands and looked at him with disgust, "Don't touch me. Just go away!"

Ke Ruan's hands shook a little. Shit! He was angry at me. What could I do? God! Please tell me!

Ke Ruan then said softly, "Han, let me take you out first, okay? I know it's all my fault. I shouldn't have left you alone. I know I was wrong. Please don't be mad at me, at least not here. Be mad at me anyway you want when we get back at the inn, okay? Let's just get out of this place now."

Si Yuhan didn't say a word.

What did he just say? That he shouldn't have left me alone? That it was all his fault? What?

Si Yuhan clenched his fists and teeth, as if he was going to strangle him to death any minute.

What was he trying to do? Again and again. Like before when we were stuck in the lake.

While he was trying to figure it out, Ke Ruan had already lifted him up and held him in his arms tightly.

Si Yuhan roared, "Put me down!"

Well, that was loud enough. The tough guys waiting outside then broke in, following Si Yuhan's previous order.

Si Yuhan cursed secretly in his heart.

"You son of a bitch. How dare you! Guys, kill him!" One of them said angrily.

Ke Ruan stepped back a little.

Those guys had witnessed how horrible Si Yuhan could be, so they were terrified of him. At this time, they saw Si Yuhan, who was carried in Ke Ruan's arms, gave them a cold look.

Obviously, it was saying that if they didn't kill Ke Ruan, he would kill them instead.

Those two exchanged their glances, then rushed towards Ke Ruan together.

Ke Ruan got no extra hands to fight with them. When they threw themselves at him, he dodged and rushed out of the door.

"Kill him!"

Ke Ruan put Si Yuhan on the stairs nearby. He knew he wouldn't be able to get out of here without getting ride of these two minions.

He rubbed Si Yuhan's hair with his unwounded hand and said, "Han, just sit here and wait for me. They have to pay for what they did to you. "

Si Yuhan raised his eyebrows. Good. So he did change in this life. He was not acting, at least not tonight.

Ke Ruan was trying to clench his fists like what he saw in the movie, which almost made him pass out. He completely forgot the wound in his hand because of the damn nail.

He gasped. Damn it.

"You don't know who you are messing with. No punishment would be good enough for you." Ke Ruan showed no mercy when fighting with them.

Even though those two men looked tough, they fought like girls. However, Ke Ruan learnt from the best. In no time, these two clowns were beaten up by him and couldn't even recognize each other.
