6. Not just a new chapter, but a whole book

(Nico's POV)

I sat on a chair beside Percy's bed. I took his hand in mine and intertwined our fingers. I looked up at him. He had black stuff all over his face. His eyes laid shut like he was sleeping. 'Well dur di Angelo he is asleep.'

I cussed at myself. I moved Percy's hand up to my mouth and kissed it. "You are gonna be alright. You are the strongest person I know. This is just gonna be a bump in the road."

I heard someone knock on the door so I laid Percy's hand down and took my hand away from it. I cleared my throat. "Come in."

I looked at the door when the rest of seven walk in. I gave them a small smile and then looked back at Percy. I had so much I wanted to say, but I also had nothing to say. I wanted to hold Percy's hand, but no one new that we was together. I have been meaning to tell Jason but life keeps getting in the way.

Talking about the son of Jupiter. He spoke up, "Hey Nico. Can I talk to you in the hall?"

I looked from Percy to Jason. I looked back at Percy. I double tapped the floor with the tip my shoes. A skeleton climbed out of the ground. Once he was out I looked at him. "I am going to step into the hall. If Percy wakes up, I want you to get me. You listen to me and only me. Do you understand?"

The skeleton nodded his head. I stood up and walked towards the door. I held it open for Jason. Once both of us walked out I shut the door. I looked at Jason. "What Grace? Can't you see I wanna be with Percy."

"Did you mean what you said?" He asked. He watched me.

I looked at him in confusion. "Yes you are not my number one best friend. Someone else is. Now why in the hell did you make me come out here for you to ask that."

"It's Percy." He said. He had a small smile on his lips.

"Yes its Percy. Now can I please go back into the room?" I asked and huffed in annoyance.

"Just answer one more question."

"Fucking Hades Jason! Just ask it! I wanna go back in their with Percy!" I yelled without meaning too.

Jason put a hand over my mouth. "No need to yell. I was just gonna ask if when you said that Percy was your boyfriend you meant it or was just worked up over him being missing."

I felt my face heating up. "Yes I did. Now can I go back into the room?"

I grabbed the door handle but Jason but his hand on the door so I couldn't open it. "Since when are you two a couple and why wasn't I the first one to know?"

"One get your hand off of the door. Two I have been meaning to tell you but haven't have time. Three That is none of your business and if you tell anyone I am chopping off your dick and shoving it down Mrs. O' Learys throat." I gave him a slight glare.

He gulped and moved away from the door. "Okay. I am done!"

I gave him a small smile. "Thanks."

I opened the door and walked back in. I sat in my chair. I looked at the skeleton. "You are dismissed. Oh and tell my dad I said sorry for using his name as a curse."

The skeleton nodded its head and then disappeared into the ground. I turned back to Percy. He was the same as he was before I walked out of the room. I watched as his head fell to the side. Gently I reached up and fixed is head. I looked over at Jason. He had his arms wrapped around Pipers waist. He looked at me with a small smirk.

I rolled my eyes and sat back down. I looked at Percy. I hated how it seems like everything bad goes near Percy. I sighed and rubbed my face. I jumped when Percy started talking. "It's not nice to sigh at people."

I looked at Percy. He had a small smirk on his face but his eyes were still closed. I moved and hugged him tight. I didn't care what the others thought. Slowly Percy wrapped his arms around me too. I whispered in his ear. "I am so glad you are okay."

He let out a light laugh, but he started coughing bad. I let go off him and pat his back a little. After he got done, Grover spoke up. "Hey man. How you feeling?"

"Like I blew up." Percy said with a small laugh. I watched as he slowly opened his eyes. He looked around for a second. His face was full of shock. "NICO?!"

I jumped and looked at him. "What? I am right here."

Everyone looked from him to me back to him. Piper spoke in a calming voice. "Percy what's wrong?"

Percy started yelling. "I can't see! I can't fucking see!"

I grabbed his hand. "Okay okay. Calm down."

Slowly I moved his head to my chest. I wrapped my arms around him and rocked. He started crying. I looked up at everyone. "Hey why don't you guys step into the hallway or in the waiting room until I get him calmed down?"

Everyone but Grover left. "I am not leaving."

"I wasn't planning on making you leave Grover." I kept rocking Percy as he cried.

"I won't be able to live. I am gonna die!" Percy cried.

Grover and I both spoke to him in soft voices. Once we got him calmed down, I looked at Grover. He was rubbing his temples. He spoke up. "Percy do you remember what happened?"

"I was going to get Leo when I heard something. My ears started to ringing in my ears before everything went black." Percy wrapped his arms around me tight.

"Everything is going to be alright. We might not be able to get your eyesight back, but we can help you become yourself again. Plus none of us are gonna leave u. Your not gonna fight this battle alone." I told him.

He nodded. "What would my Mom and Paul tell me if they seen me right now?"

"They would be so proud." Grover spoke up. "They would be grateful that you are still alive and doing well. Loosing your eyes is gonna be a battle but you have won so many other battles what would stop you from winning this one? Nothing."

Percy hid his face in my chest. "I had my eyesight during those battles. I could see. Now I can't see. That's whats gonna make it to where I loose. I am gonna die becuase I can't see."

"Percy. No one is gonna let you die. Me being your boyfriend isn't gonna let that happen. Your not gonna die." I told him kissing his head.

"You guys are dating?" Grover asked in shock.

I looked at him and nodded. Percy spoke. "Yeah man. Sorry for not telling you sooner."

"Hey as long as you guys are happy I don't care who you have sex with or who you guys are attracted too. That's you guys. It doesn't affect me." Grover said.

"Thanks G-Man." Percy yawned.

Grover looked confused. "Thanks for what?"

"A lot of things. One is for not being an asshole about me and Nico. Two for always being with me when I need ya."

"That's what friends are for my dude." Grover smiled.

I looked down at Percy. This isn't just a new chapter for us but a whole book.
