9. First little space in a while (Part one)

This just an example chapter of what it would be like if we do make this into my idea (chapter above this.)

(Nico's POV)

We never did get to the Big House. Halfway there, I noticed Percy was acting little, I looked at Grover. He must have noticed he was acting weird. I spoke first. "Hey Grover. Why don't you go ahead? Well catch up."

"Yeah okay?" I gently put my hand on Percy's cheek.

He laid his head against my hand. "Me want my binkie."

I have him a confused look. "Are you in your little space?"

He nodded. I smiled and took his hand in mine. "Alright. Do you want to go to my cabin or yours?"

"Yours!" He smiled. "It dark."

"Do you want me to carry you or are you gonna be a big boy and walk?" I smiled at him. I have always loved when he is in little space. He might not have been able to have a great childhood when Gabe was around, but I can help him try and have one now.

"Carry!" He made grabbed hands at me. I smiled. I picked him up. He wrapped his legs around my waist and his arms around my neck. He hid his face into my neck. "I hungy too!"

I started the walk back to my cabin. "Does Dino nuggies and mac n cheese sound good?"

"Hmhm." He put his thumb in his mouth. He made sure to hide it front the campers. 

Times like this is when I am glad that Hazel and I turned part of our cabin into a kitchen. Another thing I am glad about is if Percy or I goes into little space, I am glad that we know how to hide it from the others. 

I walked into the cabin and sat Percy on my bed. "Do you wanna watch Finding Nemo while I made us some lunch?"

Percy's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. He started nodding his head fast. I couldn't stop the smile from growing on my face. "Go get the DVD and I'll turn on the TV."

Percy jumped up and ran to the cabinet and the cabinet with all off our movies on them. I turned on our TV and got the DVD/VCR player hooked up. Once I was done, Percy brought the DVD over. I put it in and turned it on. Percy's whole attention was hooked on the TV.

I walked into the kitchen and started lunch. I started thinking about the last time Percy went into little space. Its been about a year. I would say. I don't know why he hasn't went into it sooner. He must have been fighting it and just couldn't fight it anymore. I thought about the last time he went into little space. 

We was in the middle of the good ol' Walmart. We was over in the baby isle getting stuff for if we went into little space. Some dude, he was about Gabe's age. He was walking, (more like stubbing), around. He had a opened beer in his hand. He came over to us. Percy went to move behind me so he was farther away from the drunk.

Well the dude tripped over his feet and he fell. The beer hit the wood off the shelf. It sounded exactly like it would have if he meant to slam it on it. I turned to Percy and seem his start to fight his little space. I grabbed his hand and got him out of Walmart into the car. Once we was in the car, he let himself regress.

I shook my head getting out of memory lane. I put the nuggets on a pizza pan and shoved them into the oven. I also turned the water on for the noodles. Once that was done, I walked over to the cabinet and grabbed a sippy up and filled it with fruit punch. 

When I took it to Percy he grabbed it and instantly drank out of it. I wanted til he was done. He gave me a goofy grin. "Fank you!"

I smiled. "Your welcome. The foods on."

He wasn't paying attention to me. He was watching Finding Nemo. I walked over to the door to make sure it was locked. I happened to look out the door to see Piper walking towards the cabin. I turned towards Percy and yelled, "I am gonna step out on the porch for a minute, bud. You stay on the bed okay?"

"Otay!" He yelled back.

I opened the door and walked out. I shut it behind me. I looked at Piper. She finished walking towards the cabin and up on the steps. "Hey have you seen Percy? I've been looking for him."

"He went into New York for a little bit. Chiron doesn't know though." I said the first thing that came to my mind. "I don't know when he will be back though."

She nodded. "Okay. I just wanted to let him know that his dad was here looking for him. I'll let the God know."

I nodded. "I'll let him know to get a hold of his dad when he gets back."

"Thanks." Piper walked off. I walked inside and locked the door with a sigh.

I looked at Percy. He was still invested into the movie. I walked into the kitchen and kept working on lunch.

When the lunch was done. I walked over make Percy and I a plate. Percy ran in with his sippy up. It was empty. "More peas."

I smiled and took the cup. I love when he says please when he is regressed, because it sounds like he is saying peas. I filled it back up. "The food is cooling so it won't be long til its done. Are you still hungry?"

"Yeppy!" Percy giggled. I smiled. "I go back now!"

Before I could reply Percy ran back towards my bed. I smiled. I let the food finish cooling before taking it in to him. We sat and ate while we watched the movie. It was a chill kind of time.

Sorry for the lack of posting. My life is crazy right now. Also I am now gonna update my books on Friday. It is just easier for me to to update them all.

Also I am gonna rewrite from the chapter above this one up.
