Goodbye

I couldnt describe to you how i felt, the morning after the ball. My night with Loki was beyond perfect, i finally got my kiss and then a thousand more. I had never felt this way in my life, it was such a new feeling that i never wanted to lose...then all of a sudden a thought dawned on me...i only had 24 days until i had to leave. Sure that felt like a lot but compared to what i wanted with Loki it was nothing.

I turned to see Loki still asleep and smiled, this man was beyond perfect. He was everything i wished for. His face turned to one of discomfort and i instantly knew he was having a nightmare. I tried to call his name to comfort him but i got nothing back! I kept calling his name and eventually he came around.

"Are you ok?" I asked him and all he did was stare at me and rest his hand on my face. He pulled me towards him and kissed my forehead before hugging me close to him.

"I'll always be ok as long as i have you by myside little one!" I smiled and snuggled into his arms. We were there for 5 minutes before Emily and Thor walked through the door causing me to jump and cover myself with the blanket. Loki remained unphased only keeping below his torso covered.

"Oh it seems we may have interupted something my angel" Thor smirked as he looked at me and Loki.

"Hilarious brother...what are you doing here?"

"Just coming to wait for Emily while she gets dressed for our day out together" Loki smiled and looked at me.

"Do you have to perform today my love?"

"Yes but i know the song very well so don't need to rehearse. Why?" Loki looked at his brother as if he was looking for permission to do something.

"Shall we accompany Emily and my brother on their day out?"

"I don't want to intrude their day?" i looked to Thor who had chose to sit on the end of my bed.

"Not in the slightest. I would love the extra company. Plus Emily misses spending time with you so it will make for a good day out"

"Only if Emily tells me it's ok" Emily must have heard our conversation because she came out the bathroom and threw a dress at me.

"Get your naked ass out of bed and into clothes. You too Loki, we have a day out to attend together...but first breakfast"

" i need to shower" i moaned.

"Shower together." Emily called out as if it was obvious. I looked to Loki who had a mischiveious look on his face. He put his pants on from the side of the bed and picked me up over his shoulder with the quilt still wrapped around me. He placed me down in the bathroom before turning on the shower and us jumping in.

50 minutes later we were ready to go to breakfast. We all made our way there together and sat down with Thor and Loki at their table. Frigga looked at me and smirked before bowing her head. I smiled back nervously and looked to Loki.

"She knows what happened last night. I can tell from her face. She may have walked by your room after realising i wasn't in mine and heard us...well...you" i blushed at Lokis remark and started eating my food.

Time skip

We had an amazing date with Emily and Thor, doing everything in Asgard. We ate at the best resturant and walked round the most beautiful park. I noticed Thor and Loki held back a little from me and Emily to discuss private matters.

"So....tell me EVERYTHING...was he better than Tyler? Did you do it more than once? He is bi-"

"Stop right there Emily" i laughed "hwe had a few moments through out the days before the ball but nothing ever came from them because we were always interupted. Then after the ball i went back to our room and he came to see me. Then it all happened from there. Yeh he is WAY better than Tyler. We did it a few times. I wont be answering that question"

Loki and Thor eventually caught up to us and Thor took Emily off to the side.

"Where are they going?" I quizzed Loki

"Thor is taking Emily to his secret hide out. He has only ever shown me and mother. Emily really is special to him. As you are to me little one." We carried on walking till we were back at the Palace. "I must bid you farewell, i must seek Odin to speak to him. I shall see you later?" I nodded and kissed his cheek. I knew he didnt like showing too much affection so i never resorted to anything too romantic.

I walked back to my room and laid on my bed thinking back over the last 8 days. I wondered what me and Loki were and if we could ever be more with him been a Prince and me having no royal status. I wondered if i was just his toy for sex while i was here and then when i left...he would move on and i would be a thing of the past. He is the God of Mischief after all, he could be lying to me...Tyler did. I need a nap.

I walked into Odins chambers and bowed to him and mother.

"Loki my boy, what gives us the pleasure of seeing you?" Odin asked as i stood up.

"I have a problem father" Odin raised his head proud.

"The girl?" I nodded. "What is this problem? Do you not love her?" M head shot up

"Yes father, that is the problem. I love her. I worry what is to become of us. She leaves in less than 30 days. Probably forever...what happens when we return to Asgard?" Odin stood and walked to his sons side.

"I will tell you what i told Thor, if the girl is worthit and you truly love one another you will find each other. You can use the bridge as often as you wish to see her but she must never know of Asgard...or of your true form, am i understood?"

"Yes father" i walked out of the room disheartened with the outcome of the meeting. I was hoping to bring her with us. I was foolish to think Odin would ever allow that! I didn't know what was to become of our realtionship but i knew i had to make these last days worthit. I was so mad but i had to hide it for her.

Time skip................

The day that they both dreaded was here...the day Opheria had to leave. They had spent the time they had either in bed or just in each others company in the great hall or garden. Opheria could feel the tears stream down her face. Loki held back his the best he could but he knew it was no use.

"I will seeyou again Opheria. I promise you. I don't know when my duties will allow me leave but i will try my hardest. Write to me?" Loki never had a phone so things like calling or texting were off the table.

"How will i cope not been able to touch you, see your eyes stare into mine or hear your voice" Loki whispered while hugging her as tightly as he could. Neither wanting to let go first but they knew they had to. It was the hardest thing either of them had had to do. Loki watched the bus set off with Thor who was equally as upset at the thought of not seeing Emily. This was going to be hard for all of them...but nothing could be done.

Odin watched from the window above them, feeling his sons grief at losing their loved ones knowing they may not see them again. He knew Thor would put a brave face on but it was Loki he worried most about. They couldn't risk him spiralling, going back to his old ways. He wouldn't allow that to happen again. Not to his son.
